And they urge you to hasten the punishment. But Allah will never fail in His promise. And indeed, a day with your Lord is like a thousand years of those which you count.

و آنان از تو [از روی مسخره و ریشخند] شتاب در عذاب را درخواست می کنند، در حالی که خدا هرگز از وعده اش تخلف نمی کند؛ و همانا یک روز نزد پروردگارت مانند هزار سال از سال هایی است که شما می شمارید [برای او زمان نزدیک، زمان دور، امروز، دیروز، گذشته و آینده مفهومی ندارد؛ بنابراین فاصله زمانی شما با عذاب الهی شما را دچار این پندار نکند که تهدید به عذاب، تهدیدی طولانی و دروغ است.]

و از تو با شتاب تقاضای عذاب می‌کنند، با آنکه هرگز خدا وعده‌اش را خلاف نمی کند، و در حقیقت، یک روز [از قیامت‌] نزد پروردگارت مانند هزار سال است از آنچه می‌شمرید.

Senden, başlarına acele azap getirmeni istiyorlar. Allah sözünden asla caymayacaktır. Rabbinin katında bir gün, saydıklarınızdan bin yıl gibidir.

Dan mereka meminta kepadamu agar azab itu disegerakan, padahal Allah sekali-kali tidak akan menyalahi janji-Nya. Sesungguhnya sehari disisi Tuhanmu adalah seperti seribu tahun menurut perhitunganmu.

پیغمبر علیھ السّلام یہ لوگ آپ سے عذاب میں عجلت کا تقاضا کررہے ہیں حالانکہ خدا اپنے وعدہ کے خلاف ہرگز نہیں کرسکتا ہے اور آپ کے پروردگار کے نزدیک ایک دن بھی ان کے شمار کے ہزار سال کے برابر ہوتا ہے

তারা আপনাকে আযাব ত্বরান্বিত করতে বলে। অথচ আল্লাহ কখনও তাঁর ওয়াদা ভঙ্গ করেন না। আপনার পালনকর্তার কাছে একদিন তোমাদের গণনার এক হাজার বছরের সমান।
