And never would your Lord have destroyed the cities until He had sent to their mother a messenger reciting to them Our verses. And We would not destroy the cities except while their people were wrongdoers.

Your Lord would not destroy the towns until He had raised an apostle in their mother city to recite to them Our signs. We would never destroy the towns except when their people were wrongdoers.

And never did thy Lord destroy the townships, till He had raised up in their mother(-town) a messenger reciting unto them Our revelations. And never did We destroy the townships unless the folk thereof were evil-doers.

Nor was thy Lord the one to destroy a population until He had sent to its centre a messenger, rehearsing to them Our Signs; nor are We going to destroy a population except when its members practise iniquity.

Yet thy Lord never destroyed the cities until He sent in their mother-city a Messenger, to recite Our signs unto them; and We never destroyed the cities, save that their inhabitants were evildoers.

و پروردگارت بر آن نبوده است که شهرها را نابود کند، تا آنکه [پیش از نابودی] در مرکز آنها پیامبری برانگیزد که آیات ما را بر آنان بخواند، و ما [در هیچ حالی از احوال] نابودکننده شهرها نبوده ایم مگر در حالی که اهلش ستمکار بوده اند.

و پروردگار تو [هرگز] ویرانگر شهرها نبوده است تا [پیشتر] در مرکز آنها پیامبری برانگیزد که آیات ما را بر ایشان بخواند، و ما شهرها را -تا مردمشان ستمگر نباشند- ویران‌کننده نبوده‌ایم.

Rabbin şehirlerin anasına, onlara ayetlerimizi okuyacak bir peygamber göndermedikçe onları yok etmiş değildir. Zaten Biz yalnız, halkı zalim olan şehirleri yok etmişizdir.

Dan tidak adalah Tuhanmu membinasakan kota-kota, sebelum Dia mengutus di ibukota itu seorang rasul yang membacakan ayat-ayat Kami kepada mereka; dan tidak pernah (pula) Kami membinasakan kota-kota; kecuali penduduknya dalam keadaan melakukan kezaliman.

اور آپ کا پروردگار کسی بستی کو ہلاک کرنے والا نہیں ہے جب تک کہ اس کے مرکزمیں کوئی رسول نہ بھیج دے جو ان کے سامنے ہماری آیات کی تلاوت کرے اور ہم کسی بستی کے تباہ کرنے والے نہیں ہیں مگر یہ کہ اس کے رہنے والے ظالم ہوں

আপনার পালনকর্তা জনপদসমূহকে ধ্বংস করেন না, যে পর্যন্ত তার কেন্দ্রস্থলে রসূল প্রেরণ না করেন, যিনি তাদের কাছে আমার আয়াতসমূহ পাঠ করেন এবং আমি জনপদসমূহকে তখনই ধ্বংস করি, যখন তার বাসিন্দারা জুলুম করে।
