فَلَا إِنَّ وَأَنتُمْ لَا ﴿٧٤﴾

Translation

Saheeh International

So do not assert similarities to Allah. Indeed, Allah knows and you do not know.

قرآن حکیم (شرح آیات منتخب)

خدا مثل و شبیه ندارد

این جمله خطاب به کسانی است که می‌خواستند با عقل‌های ناقص خود, خداوند را توصیف کنند و به همین جهت» او را به موجودات دیگر تشبیه می‌کردند. برای مثال می‌گفتند: همان‌طور که انسان‌ها فرزند دارند» خداوند هم فرزند دارد و فرشتگان» دختران خدا هستند؛ یا خداوند با جن و پری خویشاوندی دارد؛ یا می‌پرسیدند که او چگونه می‌تواند استخوان‌های پوسیده را زنده کند. این سخن را بدین خاطر می‌گفتند که خداوند را با دیگر مخلوقات که توانایی چنین کاری را ندارنده مقایسه می‌کردند. خداوند در این آیه می‌فرماید که چون شما از حقایق امور و ذات خداوندی بی‌خبریده حق ندارید برای او شبیه‌هایی قائل شوید و او را با مخلوقاتش مقایسه کنید.
