لِسُلَيْمَٰنَ مِنَ فَهُمْ ﴿١٧﴾

Translation

Saheeh International

And gathered for Solomon were his soldiers of the jinn and men and birds, and they were [marching] in rows.

قلمرو حکومت حضرت سلیمان(ع)

در ذیل این آیه. در میان جمعی از مفسران این بحث به میان آمده که آیا همه انسان‌هاء جنیان و پرندگان» از لشکریان سلیمان(ع) بوده‌اند یا این که قسمتی از آنها لشکر او را تشکیل می‌داده‌اند. در پاسخ باید گفت که بدون شک» سلیمان بر کل روی زمین حکومت نداشت و قلمرو حکومتش منطقةٌ شام و بیت‌المقدس و احتمالاً بعضی از نواحی اطراف بود و حتی از آیات بعد استفاده می‌شود که او تا قبل از ماجرای هدهد.ء سلطه‌ای بر سرزمین یمن نداشت و بعد از ماجرای هدهد و تسلیم ملکهُ سباء بر آتجا نیز تسلّط یافت. همچنین از این آّیات فهمیده می‌شود که در میان پرندگانی که به فرمان او بودندء یک هدهد وجود داشت که وقتی سلیمان او را ندید جویای حالش شد؛ در حالی که اگر تمام پرندگان بودند و از جمله هزاران هدهدء این تعبیر صحیح نبود. > **پانوشت صفحه (منابع):** > ۱- نمونه ج۱۵ ص ۴۱۲ > ۱- نمونه جچ۱۵, ص ۴۱۲ ۲- پیشین» ص ۴۲۲ ۳ پشین» ص ۴۳۲ > ۳- پیشین» ص ۴۳۲ > **Cited sources** (grade before any load-bearing use): Tafsīr Nemūneh.

    And to Solomon [We subjected] the wind - its morning [journey was that of] a month - and its afternoon [journey was that of] a month, and We made flow for him a spring of [liquid]…

  • وَٱنطَلَقَ ٱلْمَلَأُ مِنْهُمْ أَنِ ٱمْشُوا۟ وَٱصْبِرُوا۟ عَلَىٰٓ ءَالِهَتِكُمْ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَشَىْءٌ يُرَادُ

    And the eminent among them went forth, [saying], "Continue, and be patient over [the defense of] your gods. Indeed, this is a thing intended.

  • وَثَمُودُ وَقَوْمُ لُوطٍ وَأَصْحَٰبُ لْـَٔيْكَةِ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلْأَحْزَابُ

    And [the tribe of] Thamud and the people of Lot and the companions of the thicket. Those are the companies.

  • فَأَتْبَعَهُمْ فِرْعَوْنُ بِجُنُودِهِۦ فَغَشِيَهُم مِّنَ ٱلْيَمِّ مَا غَشِيَهُمْ

    So Pharaoh pursued them with his soldiers, and there covered them from the sea that which covered them,

  • وَأَنَّهُۥ كَانَ رِجَالٌ مِّنَ ٱلْإِنسِ يَعُوذُونَ بِرِجَالٍ مِّنَ ٱلْجِنِّ فَزَادُوهُمْ رَهَقًا

    And there were men from mankind who sought refuge in men from the jinn, so they [only] increased them in burden.
