أَمْ إِنِ فَعَلَىَّ وَأَنَا۠ مِّمَّا ﴿٣٥﴾

Translation

Saheeh International

Or do they say [about Prophet Muhammad], "He invented it"? Say, "If I have invented it, then upon me is [the consequence of] my crime; but I am innocent of what [crimes] you commit."

هماهنگی دین و عقل

ممکن است هنگام مطالعٌ آّیه این ایراد به نظر برسد که این چگونه منطقی است که پیامبر به مردم بگوید: اگر این سخن افترا است» گناهش به گردن من؟! آیا قبول مسئولیت گناه افترا اثبات می‌کند که سخن پیامبر» حق و مطابق واقع است و مردم را موظّف می‌کند از او اطاعت و پیروی کنند؟! با دقت در آیات گذشته به پاسخ این ایراد پی می‌بریم که او در حقیقت می‌خواست بگوید که عقل سالم» سخنان مستدل را می‌پذیرد و من حرفی مخالف عقل نمی‌گویم. اگر هم به فرض محال, این سخنان از طرف خدا هم نباشد, گناهش بر گردن من؛و اگر شما از سخنان من پیروی کنیده گناهی نکرده‌اید؛ زیرا از عقل و منطق پیروی کرده‌اید. شما اما بدون دلیل و از روی لجاجت با من مخالفت می‌کنید و این گناهی است بزرگ و نابخشودنی.
