هَٰرُونَ مَا وَمَا ﴿٢٨﴾

O sister of Aaron, your father was not a man of evil, nor was your mother unchaste."

مریم؛ خواهر هارون!

این که آنها گفتند «ای خواهر هارون» موجب تفسیرهای گوناگونی در میان مفسران شده است؛ اما آنچه صحیح‌تر به نظر می‌رسدء این است که هارون» مرد پاک و صالحی بود؛ آن‌چنان که در میان بنی‌اسرائیل ضرب‌المثل شده بود که هرکس را می‌خواستند به پاکی معرفی کنندء می‌گفتند: او برادر یا خواهر هارون است. این معنی در حدیث کوتاهی از پیامبر(ص) نیز نقل شده است. در حدیث دیگری از همان حضرت آمده است که در میان بنی‌اسرائیل معمول بوده که افراد نیک را به پیامبران و صالحان نسبت می‌دادند.

    [And We favored you] when your sister went and said, 'Shall I direct you to someone who will be responsible for him?' So We restored you to your mother that she might be content…

  • وَبَرًّۢا بِوَٰلِدَتِى وَلَمْ يَجْعَلْنِى جَبَّارًا شَقِيًّا

    And [made me] dutiful to my mother, and He has not made me a wretched tyrant.

  • فَجَآءَتْهُ إِحْدَىٰهُمَا تَمْشِى عَلَى ٱسْتِحْيَآءٍ قَالَتْ إِنَّ أَبِى يَدْعُوكَ لِيَجْزِيَكَ أَجْرَ مَا سَقَيْتَ لَنَا فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُۥ وَقَصَّ عَلَيْهِ ٱلْقَصَصَ قَالَ لَا تَخَفْ نَجَوْتَ مِنَ ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
