۱۳. رابطةٌ استغفار و آبادی

از این آیات و آیات دیگری از قرآن به روشنی فهمیده می‌شود که بین استغفار و وفور نعمت و آبادی و خرمی و از بین رفتن مصایب و مشکلات رابطةٌ خاصی وجود دارد؛ همچنین بین ظلم و فساد و از بین رفتن نعمات و پدیداری مشکلات نیز رابطة مستقیمی وجود دارد. البته این رابطه تنها یک رابطة معنوی نیست؛ بلکه علاوه بر رابطةٌ معنوی» رابطةٌ مادی روشنی نیز در این زمینه وجود دارد. کفر و بی‌ایمانی» سرچشمةٌ احساس مسئولیت نکردن» قانون‌شکنی و فراموش کردن ارزش‌های اخلاقی است و این امور سبب از میان رفتن وحدت جامعه‌هاء متزلزل شدن پایه‌های اعتماد و اطمینان» هدر رفتن نیروهای انسانی و اقتصادی و به هم خوردن تعادل اجتماعی می‌شود. جامعه‌ای که این امور بر آن حاکم گرد به سرعت عقب‌نشینی می‌کند و راه سقوط و نابودی را پیش خواهد گرفت و اگر می‌بینیم جوامعی به رغم نداشتن ایمان و تقوی از پیشرفت نسبی وضع مادی برخوردارند. آن را نیز باید مرهون رعایت نسبی بعضی از اصول اخلاقی بدانیم. در روایات نیز روی این معنا تکیه شده است. امام علی(ع) فرموده است: «زیاد استغفار کن تا روزی را به سوی خود جلب کنی.»
