هَلْ عَلَيْهِ إِلَّا كَمَآ عَلَىٰٓ مِن وَهُوَ ﴿٦٤﴾

Translation

Saheeh International

He said, "Should I entrust you with him except [under coercion] as I entrusted you with his brother before? But Allah is the best guardian, and He is the most merciful of the merciful."

اعتماد یعقوب(ع) به رحمت الهی

حضرت یعقوب در ابتدا تقاضای پسرانش مبنی بر فرستادن بنیامین با آنها را رد کرد؛ زیرا آنها در ماجرای یوسف ثابت کرده بودند که افراد امانت‌دار و سزاوار اعتمادی نیستند. آنان درست همان وعده‌ای را که در بارة محافظت از یوسف به پدرشان داده بودند (آیةٌ ۱۳)» در بارةٌ بنیامین نیز دادند (آیةُ ۶۳) و گفتند: «انا له لحافظون.»؛ اما یعقوب(ع) سخن آنها را قبول نکرد و چون دید که اطمینان به آنها بیهوده استء به خدا و حفاظت او دل بست و فرمود «فالله خیر حافظاً» و علت آن را نیز بیان کرد که «و هو ارحم الراحمین». چه بسا شخصی غیر از خداوند مورد اعتماد قرار گیرد و امانتی به او داده شود»ء ولی او در آن امانت و به شخصی که امانت را به او سپرده» رحم نکند؛ اما خداوند در جایی که باید رحم کندء فروگذار نمی‌کند و بر انسان عاجزی که کار خود را به او واگذار کرده» رحم می‌کند. در بارةٌ این جمله در روایتی می‌خوانیم: پس از آن که یعقوب(ع) فرمود: «فاله خیر حافظاً و هو...»» خداوند فرمود: «به عزتم سوگند. چون تو بر من توکل و اعتماد کردی, من هم قطعاً آن دو (یوسف و برادرش) را به تو باز می‌گردانم.»
