That is from the news of the unseen which We reveal to you, [O Muhammad]. And you were not with them when they cast their pens as to which of them should be responsible for Mary. Nor were you with them when they disputed.

These accounts are from the Unseen, which We reveal to you, and you were not with them when they were casting lots [to see] which of them would take charge of Mary’s care, nor were you with them when they were contending.

This is of the tidings of things hidden. We reveal it unto thee (Muhammad). Thou wast not present with them when they threw their pens (to know) which of them should be the guardian of Mary, nor wast thou present with them when they quarrelled (thereupon).

This is part of the tidings of the things unseen, which We reveal unto thee (O Messenger!) by inspiration: Thou wast not with them when they cast lots with arrows, as to which of them should be charged with the care of Mary: Nor wast thou with them when they disputed (the point).

(That is of the tidings of the Unseen, that We reveal to thee; for thou wast not with them, when they were casting quills which of them should have charge of Mary; thou wast not with them, when they were disputing.)

این [حقایق] از خبرهای غیبی است که به تو وحی می کنیم. و تو هنگامی که آنان قلم های خود را [به عنوان قرعه زدن در آب] می انداختند که کدامیک از آنان سرپرستی مریم را عهده دار شود، و نیز زمانی که [برای کفالت او] با یکدیگر جدال و ستیز می کردند، نزد آنان نبودی.

این [جمله‌] از اخبار غیب است که به تو وحی می‌کنیم، و [گرنه‌] وقتی که آنان قلمهای خود را [برای قرعه‌کشی به آب‌] می‌افکندند تا کدام یک سرپرستی مریم را به عهده گیرد، نزد آنان نبودی؛ و [نیز] وقتی با یکدیگر کشمکش می‌کردند نزدشان نبودی.

Bu Sana vahyettiğimiz gayb haberlerindendir. Meryem'e hangisi kefil olacak diye kalemlerini atarlarken sen yanlarında değildin, çekişirlerken de orada bulunmadın.

Yang demikian itu adalah sebagian dari berita-berita ghaib yang Kami wahyukan kepada kamu (ya Muhammad); padahal kamu tidak hadir beserta mereka, ketika mereka melemparkan anak-anak panah mereka (untuk mengundi) siapa di antara mereka yang akan memelihara Maryam. Dan kamu tidak hadir di sisi mereka ketika mereka bersengketa.

پیغمبر یہ غیب کی خبریں ہیں جن کی وحی ہم آپ کی طرف کررہے ہیں اور آپ تو ان کے پاس نہیں تھے جب وہ قرعہ ڈال رہے تھے کہ مریم کی کفالت کون کرے گا اور آپ ان کے پاس نہیں تھے جب وہ اس موضوع پر جھگڑا کررہے تھے

এ হলো গায়েবী সংবাদ, যা আমি আপনাকে পাঠিয়ে থাকি। আর আপনি তো তাদের কাছে ছিলেন না, যখন প্রতিযোগিতা করছিল যে, কে প্রতিপালন করবে মারইয়ামকে এবং আপনি তাদের কাছে ছিলেন না, যখন তারা ঝগড়া করছিলো।
