وَمَا عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِنْ مِّن وَلَٰكِن لَعَلَّهُمْ ﴿٦٩﴾

Translation

Saheeh International

And those who fear Allah are not held accountable for the disbelievers at all, but [only for] a reminder - that perhaps they will fear Him.

قرآن حکیم (شرح آیات منتخب)

استثنای نهی آَیة ۶۸

از امام باقر(ع) نقل شده که چون آیة پیش نازل گردید و مسلمانان از مجالست با کفار و استهزاکنندگان نهی شدند»ء جمعی از مسلمانان گفتند: اگر بخواهیم در همه جا به این دستور عمل کنیم. دیگر نباید به مسجدالحرام برویم و خانة خدا را طواف کنیم؛ زیر کافران در گوشه و کنار مسجد پراکنده‌اند و در بارة یات الهی سخنان باطلی می‌گویند و در هر گوشه از مسجدالحرام مختصر توقفی کنیم» ممکن است سخنان آنها به گوش ما برسد. در این موقع» این آیه نازل شد و به مسلمانان دستور داد که در این‌گونه مواقع» آنها را نصیحت کنند و تا آنجا که قدرت دارند. به ارشاد و راهنمایی آنها بپردازند. ذکر شأن نزول برای این آیه منافاتی با نازل شدن تمام سوره با هم - چنان که در روایات وارد شده - ندارد؛ زیرا ممکن است حوادث متعددی در زندگانی مسلمانان رخ دهد»ء سپس سوره‌ای یکجا نازل شود و آیاتی از آنء ناظر به قسمتی از آن حوادث باشد. همچنین باید توجه داشت که تنها کسانی می‌توانند از استثنای این آیه استفاده کنند و در مجالسی بنشینند که یات الهی استهزا می‌شود که طبق تعبیر آیه دارای مقام تقوی و پرهیزگاری باشند و نه تنها تحت تأثیر آنها واقع نشوند» بلکه بتوانند با تذکر و ارشادء بر اهل مجلس تأثیر بگذارند.
