And how should I fear what you associate while you do not fear that you have associated with Allah that for which He has not sent down to you any authority? So which of the two parties has more right to security, if you should know?

How could I fear what you ascribe [to Him] as [His] partners, when you do not fear ascribing to Allah partners for which He has not sent down any authority to you? So [tell me,] which of the two sides has a greater right to safety, if you know?

How should I fear that which ye set up beside Him, when ye fear not to set up beside Allah that for which He hath revealed unto you no warrant? Which of the two factions hath more right to safety? (Answer me that) if ye have knowledge.

"How should I fear (the beings) ye associate with Allah, when ye fear not to give partners to Allah without any warrant having been given to you? Which of (us) two parties hath more right to security? (tell me) if ye know.

How should I fear what you have associated, seeing you fear not that you have associated with God that whereon He has not sent down on you any authority?' Which of the two parties has better title to security, if you have any knowledge?

چگونه از آنچه شما شریک او قرار داده اید بترسم؟! در حالی که خود شما از اینکه چیزی را شریک خدا گرفته اید که خدا هیچ دلیلی بر حقّانیّت آن بر شما نازل نکرده نمی ترسید، اگر حقایق را می دانید [بگویید] کدام یک از دو گروه [خداپرستان و مشرکان] به ایمنی [از عذاب خدا] سزاوارترند؟

و چگونه از آنچه شریک [خدا] می‌گردانید بترسم، با آنکه شما خود از اینکه چیزی را شریک خدا ساخته‌اید که [خدا] دلیلی در باره آن بر شما نازل نکرده است نمی‌هراسید؟ پس اگر می‌دانید، کدام یک از [ما] دو دسته به ایمنی سزاوارتر است؟

"Allah'a koştuğunuz ortaklardan nasıl korkarım? Oysa siz, Allah'ın hakkında size bir delil indirmediği bir şeyi O'na ortak koşmaktan korkmuyorsunuz. İki taraftan hangisine güvenmek daha gereklidir, bir bilseniz."

Bagaimana aku takut kepada sembahan-sembahan yang kamu persekutukan (dengan Allah), padahal kamu tidak mempersekutukan Allah dengan sembahan-sembahan yang Allah sendiri tidak menurunkan hujjah kepadamu untuk mempersekutukan-Nya. Maka manakah di antara dua golongan itu yang lebih berhak memperoleh keamanan (dari malapetaka), jika kamu mengetahui?

اور میں کس طرح تمہارے خداؤں سے ڈر سکتا ہوں جب کہ تم اس بات سے نہیں ڈرتے ہو کہ تم نے ان کو خدا کا شریک بنادیا ہے جس کے بارے میں خدا کی طرف سے کوئی دلیل نہیں نازل ہوئی ہے تو اب دونوں فریقوں میں کون زیادہ امن و سکون کا حقدار ہے اگر تم جاننے والے ہو تو بتاؤ

যাদেরকে তোমরা আল্লাহর সাথে শরীক করে রেখেছ, তাদেরকে কিরূপে ভয় কর, অথচ তোমরা ভয় কর না যে, তোমরা আল্লাহর সাথে এমন বস্তুকে শরীক করছ, যাদের সম্পর্কে আল্লাহ তোমাদের প্রতি কোন প্রমাণ অবতীর্ণ করেননি। অতএব, উভয় সম্প্রদায়ের মধ্যে শাস্তি লাভের অধিক যোগ্য কে, যদি তোমরা জ্ঞানী হয়ে থাক।
