He said, "He says, 'It is a cow neither trained to plow the earth nor to irrigate the field, one free from fault with no spot upon her.' " They said, "Now you have come with the truth." So they slaughtered her, but they could hardly do it.

He said, ‘He says, She is a cow not broken to till the earth or water the tillage, sound and without blemish.’ They said, ‘Now have you come up with the truth!’ And they slaughtered it, though they were about not to do it.

(Moses) answered: Lo! He saith: Verily she is a cow unyoked; she plougheth not the soil nor watereth the tilth; whole and without mark. They said: Now thou bringest the truth. So they sacrificed her, though almost they did not.

He said: "He says: A heifer not trained to till the soil or water the fields; sound and without blemish." They said: "Now hast thou brought the truth." Then they offered her in sacrifice, but not with good-will.

He said, 'He says she shall be a cow not broken to plough the earth or to water the tillage, one kept secure, with no blemish on her.' They said, 'Now thou hast brought the truth'; and therefore they sacrificed her, a thing they had scarcely done.

گفت: او می گوید: گاوی است که نه رام است تا زمین را شخم زند و نه زراعت را آبیاری نماید، [از هر عیب و نقصی] سالم است، و رنگی مخالف رنگ اصلی در آن نیست، گفتند: اکنون حق را برای ما آوردی. پس آن را ذبح کردند، در حالی که نزدیک بود فرمان خدا را اجرا نکنند!!

گفت: «وی می‌فرماید: در حقیقت، آن ماده گاوی است که نه رام است تا زمین را شخم زند؛ و نه کشتزار را آبیاری کند؛ بی‌نقص است؛ و هیچ لکه‌ای در آن نیست.» گفتند: «اینک سخن درست آوردی.» پس آن را سر بریدند، و چیزی نمانده بود که نکنند.

"Yeri sürüp, ekini sulayarak boyunduruk altında ezilmemiş, kusursuz, alacasız bir sığır olduğunu söylüyor" dedi. "Şimdi gerçeği bildirdin" deyip sığırı boğazladılar; az kalsın bunu yapmayacaklardı.

Musa berkata: "Sesungguhnya Allah berfirman bahwa sapi betina itu adalah sapi betina yang belum pernah dipakai untuk membajak tanah dan tidak pula untuk mengairi tanaman, tidak bercacat, tidak ada belangnya". Mereka berkata: "Sekarang barulah kamu menerangkan hakikat sapi betina yang sebenarnya". Kemudian mereka menyembelihnya dan hampir saja mereka tidak melaksanakan perintah itu.

حکم ہوا کہ ایسے گائے جو کاروباری نہ ہونہ زمین جوتے نہ کھیت سینچے ایسی صاف ستھری کہ اس میں کوئی دھبّہ بھی نہ ہو. ان لوگوں نے کہا کہ اب آپ نے ٹھیک بیان کیا ہے. اس کے بعد ان لوگوں نے ذبح کردیا حالانکہ وہ ایسا کرنے والے نہیں تھے

তারা বলল, এবার সঠিক তথ্য এনেছ। অতঃপর তারা সেটা জবাই করল, অথচ জবাই করবে বলে মনে হচ্ছিল না।
