65

أَلَمْ أَنَّ لَكُم مَّا فِى فِى أَن عَلَى إِلَّا إِنَّ ﴿٦٥﴾

Translation

Saheeh International

Do you not see that Allah has subjected to you whatever is on the earth and the ships which run through the sea by His command? And He restrains the sky from falling upon the earth, unless by His permission. Indeed Allah, to the people, is Kind and Merciful.

کشتی‌های شناور؛ آیتی از لطف خدا

تسخیر موجودات آسمان و زمین برای انسان بدین معناست که خدا آنها را در مسیر منافع و کمال انسان قرار داده است. اگر در میان نعمت‌های زمینی» حرکت کشتی‌ها بر صحنةٌ اقیانوس‌ها به طور خاص ذکر شده به خاطر این است که کشتی‌ها در گذشته و حال» مهم‌ترین وسیلة ارتباطی و انتقال انسان و کالا از نقطه‌ای به نقطة دیگر بوده و هستند و هیچ وسیلة نقلیه‌ای تاکنون نتوانسته است جای کشتی را در این زمینه بگیرد. به طور قطع اگر یک روز تمام کشتی‌ها بر صفحةٌ اقیانوس‌ها از حرکت باز ایستند, زندگی انسان‌ها به کلی مختل خواهد شد؛ چرا که راه‌های خشکی, قدرت و کشش نقل و انتقال این همه وسایل و کالا را ندارد. سپس خداوند به نعمت بزرگ دیگری اشاره کرده که او آسمان (کرات و سنگ‌های آسمانی) را نگه می‌دارد تا جز به فرمان او بر زمین فرو نیفتد. از یک سو هر یک از کرات آسمانی را در مدار خود به حرکت در آورده و نیروی دافعةٌ حاصل از گریز از مرکز را درست معادل نیروی جاذبةٌ آنها قرار داده تا هر یک در مدار خودء بی آن‌که در فاصله‌های آنها دگرگونی حاصل شود به حرکت در آیند و تصادفی در میان کرات روی ندهد و از سوی دیگر جو زمین را چنان آفریده که شهاب‌سنگ‌های سرگردان اجازةٌ برخورد با زمین و تولید ناراحتی و ویرانی برای اهلش را پیدا نکنند. آری» این رحمت و لطف او نسبت به بندگان است که چنین گهوارة زمین را امن و امان و خالی از هر گونه خطر آفریده تا محل آسایش و آرامش باشد؛ نه سنگ‌های سرگردان آسمانی بر زمین سقوط کنندء نه کرات دیگر با آن برخورد کنند.
