عَلَىٰٓ قَدْ ﴿١٢﴾

Translation

Saheeh International

And caused the earth to burst with springs, and the waters met for a matter already predestined.

    Of the living and the dead?

  • وَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءًۢ بِقَدَرٍ فَأَسْكَنَّٰهُ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَإِنَّا عَلَىٰ ذَهَابٍۭ بِهِۦ لَقَٰدِرُونَ

    And We have sent down rain from the sky in a measured amount and settled it in the earth. And indeed, We are Able to take it away.

  • قُلْ أَرَءَيْتُمْ إِنْ أَصْبَحَ مَآؤُكُمْ غَوْرًا فَمَن يَأْتِيكُم بِمَآءٍ مَّعِينٍۭ

    Say, "Have you considered: if your water was to become sunken [into the earth], then who could bring you flowing water?"
