ستارةٌ شعری

ستارة شعری یکی از درخشنده‌ترین ستارگان آسمان و معروف به شعرای یمانی است؛ چرا که در سمت جنوب قرار دارد و چون یمن در جنوب جزیرةالعرب بود» آن را به این نام می‌نامیدند. این ستاره معمولاً هنگام سحر در کنار صورت فلکی جوزا در آسمان ظاهر می‌شود و کاملاً جلب توجه می‌کند. این ستارهٌ عجیب‌الخلقه که به‌خاطر درخشندگی فوق‌العاده‌اش پادشاه ستارگان نامیده می‌شده» شگفتی‌های بسیاری دارد. تأکید قرآن بر این که خدا پروردگار ستارهٌ شعری استء برای بیدار کردن گروهی از عرب مانند قبیلة خزاعه و مانند آنهاست که آن را تقدیس و پرستش می‌کردند و اعتقاد داشتند مبداً موجوداتی در روی زمین است. آنها مخلوق را به جای خالق و مربوب را به جای رب قرار داده بودند. جالب توجه این که در آغاز سوره» قسم به ستاره آمده که غروب می‌کند و در اینجا سخن از پروردگار شعری است. اگر این دو آیه را در کنار هم قرار دهیم» روشن می‌شود که چرا شعری نمی‌تواند معبود باشد؛ زیرا آن‌هم غروب می‌کند و اسیر چنگال قوانین خلقت است.
