لِمَ لَوْلَا لَعَلَّكُمْ ﴿٤٦﴾

Translation

Saheeh International

He said, "O my people, why are you impatient for evil instead of good? Why do you not seek forgiveness of Allah that you may receive mercy?"

حقیقت استغفار

در این آیه خواندیم که حضرت صالح(ع) استغفار را عاملی برای جلب رحمت المی بیان می‌فرماید. باید توجه داشت که حقیقت استغفار» چیزی فراتر از استغفار زبانی است. در رواینی از امیرالمژژمنین علی(ع) آمده که شخصی در حضور او (با بی‌توجهی) گفت: «استغفر اللّه.» آن حضرت به او فرمود: «مادرت به عزایت بنشیند؛ می‌دانی استغفار چیست؟ استغفار, مقام بلندمرتبگان, و اسمی است که آن را شش معناست: یکم. پشیمانی بر گذشته؛ دوم» عزم بر ترک بازگشت به گناه برای همیشه؛ سوم این‌که حقوق مردم را ادا کنی تا با خدا عاری از هر گناهی دیدار کنی؛ چهارم, هر واجبی را که بر عهدة تو بوده و انجامش نداده‌ای» به جای آوری؛ پنجم این‌که گوشتی را که در گناه بر پیکرت روییده» در غم و اندوه آب کنی تا پوستت به استخوانت بچسبد و میان پوست و استخوان گوشت تازه بروید؛ ششم, جسم خود را رنج طاعت بچشانی؛ همچنان که بر او حلاوت معصیت چشانده بودی. در این هنگام بگو «استغفر ال».»

    And cause not corruption upon the earth after its reformation. And invoke Him in fear and aspiration. Indeed, the mercy of Allah is near to the doers of good.

  • قَالَ لَا تَثْرِيبَ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلْيَوْمَ يَغْفِرُ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمْ وَهُوَ أَرْحَمُ ٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ

    He said, "No blame will there be upon you today. Allah will forgive you; and He is the most merciful of the merciful."
