O you who were given the Scripture, believe in what We have sent down [to Muhammad], confirming that which is with you, before We obliterate faces and turn them toward their backs or curse them as We cursed the sabbath-breakers. And ever is the decree of Allah accomplished.

O you who were given the Book! Believe in what We have sent down confirming what is with you, before We blot out the faces and turn them backwards, or curse them as We cursed the People of the Sabbath, and Allah’s command is bound to be fulfilled.

O ye unto whom the Scripture hath been given! Believe in what We have revealed confirming that which ye possess, before We destroy countenances so as to confound them, or curse them as We cursed the Sabbath-breakers (of old time). The commandment of Allah is always executed.

O ye People of the Book! believe in what We have (now) revealed, confirming what was (already) with you, before We change the face and fame of some (of you) beyond all recognition, and turn them hindwards, or curse them as We cursed the Sabbath-breakers, for the decision of Allah Must be carried out.

You who have been given the Book, believe in what We have sent down, confirming what is with you, before We obliterate faces, and turn them upon their backs, or curse them as We cursed the Sabbath-men, and God's command is done.

ای کسانی که به شما کتاب آسمانی داده شده! به آنچه [بر پیامبر اسلام] نازل کردیم که تصدیق کننده تورات و انجیلی است که با شماست ایمان آورید، پیش از آنکه چهره هایی را [از شکل و شخصیت انسانی] محو کنیم، و [به کیفر تکبّر در برابر پیامبر اسلام و قرآن] به کفر و گمراهی بازگردانیم، یا چنان که اصحاب سبت را لعنت کردیم، لعنت کنیم؛ و فرمان خدا همواره شدنی است.

ای کسانی که به شما کتاب داده شده است، به آنچه فرو فرستادیم و تصدیق‌کننده همان چیزی است که با شماست ایمان بیاورید، پیش از آنکه چهره‌هایی را محو کنیم و در نتیجه آنها را به قهقرا بازگردانیم؛ یا همچنانکه «اصحاب سبت» را لعنت کردیم؛ آنان را [نیز] لعنت کنیم، و فرمان خدا همواره تحقق یافته است.

Ey Kitap verilenler! Yüzleri silip arkaya çevirerek enseler gibi dümdüz yapmadan, yahut cumartesi güncüleri lanetlediğimiz gibi lanetlemeden önce, yanınızdakini tasdik ederek indirdiğimiz Kuran'a inanın; Allah'ın emri daima yapılagelmiştir.

Hai orang-orang yang telah diberi Al Kitab, berimanlah kamu kepada apa yang telah Kami turunkan (Al Quran) yang membenarkan Kitab yang ada pada kamu sebelum Kami mengubah muka(mu), lalu Kami putarkan ke belakang atau Kami kutuki mereka sebagaimana Kami telah mengutuki orang-orang (yang berbuat maksiat) pada hari Sabtu. Dan ketetapan Allah pasti berlaku.

اے وہ لوگ جنہیں کتاب دی گئی ہے ہمارے نازل کئے ہوئے قرآن پر ایمان لے آؤ جو تمہاری کتابوں کی تصدیق کرنے والا ہے قبل اس کے کہ ہم تمھارے چہروں کو بگاڑ کر پشت کی طرف پھیر دیں یا ان پر اس طرح لعنت کریں جس طرح ہم نے اصحابِ سبت پر لعنت کی ہے اور اللہ کا حکم بہرحال نافذ ہے

হে আসমানী গ্রন্থের অধিকারীবৃন্দ! যা কিছু আমি অবতীর্ণ করেছি তার উপর বিশ্বাস স্থাপন কর, যা সে গ্রন্থের সত্যায়ন করে এবং যা তোমাদের নিকট রয়েছে পূর্ব থেকে। (বিশ্বাস স্থাপন কর) এমন হওয়ার আগেই যে, আমি মুছে দেব অনেক চেহারাকে এবং অতঃপর সেগুলোকে ঘুরিয়ে দেব পশ্চাৎ দিকে কিংবা অভিসম্পাত করব তাদের প্রতি যেমন করে অভিসম্পাত করেছি আছহাবে-সাবতের উপর। আর আল্লাহর নির্দেশ অবশ্যই কার্যকর হবে।
