قرآن حکیم (شرح آیات منتخب)

پیامبر حلیم. اوّاه و منیب

«حلیم» کسی است که در مجازات و انتقام عجله نمی‌کند. «اوّاه» به کسی اطلاق می‌شود که از ناملایماتی که به او می‌رسد یا بدی‌هایی که مشاهده می‌کندء زیاد آه می‌کشد(و دلسوز است). «منیب» به معنای کسی است که در هر کاری به خدا رجوع می‌کند. این آیه» علت مجادلة ابراهیم(ع) با فرشتگان در بارة قوم لوط را بیان می‌کند؛ بدین معنی که آن حضرت از عذاب ستمگران ناراحت نبود و از آتها طرفداری نمی کرد؛ بلکه او پیامبری حلیم و پرحوصله بود و در نزول عذاب بر مردم ستمکار عجله نمی‌کرد و امیدوار بود که به توفیق الهی اصلاح شوند. همچنین پیامبری بود که از گمراهی و هلاکت مردم رنج می‌برد و زیاد متأّثر می‌شد و برای نجات انسان‌ها از گمراهی به خدا رجوع می‌کرد و به او متوسل می‌شد.
