فَلَمَّا عَنْ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ فِى لُوطٍ﴿٧٤﴾

Translation

Saheeh International

And when the fright had left Abraham and the good tidings had reached him, he began to argue with Us concerning the people of Lot.

    And Lot believed him. [Abraham] said, "Indeed, I will emigrate to [the service of] my Lord. Indeed, He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise."

  • وَتِلْكَ حُجَّتُنَآ ءَاتَيْنَٰهَآ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ عَلَىٰ قَوْمِهِۦ نَرْفَعُ دَرَجَٰتٍ مَّن نَّشَآءُ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ حَكِيمٌ عَلِيمٌ

    And that was Our [conclusive] argument which We gave Abraham against his people. We raise by degrees whom We will. Indeed, your Lord is Wise and Knowing.

  • وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَٰهِيمُ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوْمِهِۦٓ إِنَّنِى بَرَآءٌ مِّمَّا تَعْبُدُونَ

    And [mention, O Muhammad], when Abraham said to his father and his people, "Indeed, I am disassociated from that which you worship

  • قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّآ أُرْسِلْنَآ إِلَىٰ قَوْمٍ مُّجْرِمِينَ

    They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals,
