يَٰشُعَيْبُ مَا مِّمَّا وَإِنَّا فِينَا وَلَوْلَا وَمَآ أَنتَ عَلَيْنَا ﴿٩١﴾

Translation

Saheeh International

They said, "O Shu'ayb, we do not understand much of what you say, and indeed, we consider you among us as weak. And if not for your family, we would have stoned you [to death]; and you are not to us one respected."

چرا قوم شعیب او را ضعیف می‌انگاشتند

از رسول خدا(ص) نقل شده است: «شعیب(ع) از (فرط) محبت خدا آن‌قدر گریست که نابینا شد.» از امام علی(ع) نیز روایت شده است: «چون شعیب(ع) نابینا شده بود. قومش نسبت ضعف به او دادند.» سپس فرمود: «به خدایی که جز او معبودی نیست. سوگند که آنها (قوم شعیب) از جلال و عظمت پروردگارشان نمی‌ترسیدند و به جز قوم و قبیلةٌ خود از هیچ چیز هراس نداشتند.»

  • قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا تَطَيَّرْنَا بِكُمْ لَئِن لَّمْ تَنتَهُوا۟ لَنَرْجُمَنَّكُمْ وَلَيَمَسَّنَّكُم مِّنَّا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
