وَلَا وَلَا فِى إِنَّ لَا ﴿١٨﴾

Translation

Saheeh International

And do not turn your cheek [in contempt] toward people and do not walk through the earth exultantly. Indeed, Allah does not like everyone self-deluded and boastful.

اعتدال در عمل و سخن

در این دو آیه از دو صفت نهی و به دو صفت امر شده است: نمی از خودبرتربینی و خودپسندی که یکی سبب می‌شود انسان بر بندگان خدا تکبر کند و دیگری سبب می‌شود که انسان خود را در حد کمال پندارد و در نتیجه درهای تکامل را به روی خود ببندد و هر چند گاه یک بار خود را با دیگری مقایسه نکند؛ در مقابل این دو صفت مذمومء به رعایت اعتدال در عمل و سخن امر شده است. به راستی کسی که این صفات چهارگانه را دارده در میان مردم خوشبخت و پیروز است و در پیشگاه خدا عزیز و محبوب. جالب توجه این که در یه فریادهای مغروران و ابلهان به صدای الاغ تشبیه شده است؛ چرا که به گفتةُ مفسران» صدای حیوانات دیگر غالبا به واسطةٌ نیاز است اما این حیوان گاهی بی‌جهت و بدون هیچ گونه نیاز و بی هیچ مقدمه فریاد را وقت و بی‌وقت سر می‌دهد و زشت بودن صدای او در میان صداها نیاز به بحث و گفت‌وگو ندارد. در روایتی از امام صادق(ع) این آیه به عطسه‌ای که با صدای بلند ادا می‌شود یا داد و فریاد به هنگام سخن گفتن تفسیر گردیده که در حقیقت بیان مصداق روشنی از آن است. در روایات اسلامی آن‌قدر به موضوع تواضع و حسن خلق و ملاطفت در برخوردها و ترک خشونت در معاشرت اهمیت داده شده که به کمتر چیزی اهمیت داده شده است. شخصی نزد پیامبر(ص) رفت و عرض کرد: ای پیامبر خداء مرا به چیزی سفارش کن. در میان توصیه‌هایی که پیامبر به او فرمودء این توصیه وجود داشت: «برادر مسلمانت را با روی گشاده ملاقات کن.» در حدیث دیگر از پیامبر می‌خوانیم: «در روز قیامت. چیزی برتر از اخلاق نیکو در ترازوی عمل کسی نهاده نمی‌شود.» > **پانوشت صفحه (منابع):** > ۱- نمونه» ج۰۱۷ ص۴۴ > ۱- نمونهء ج۷ ص۴۴ ۲- پیشین» ص ۵۵ > **Cited sources** (grade before any load-bearing use): Tafsīr Nemūneh.
