Those who said about their brothers while sitting [at home], "If they had obeyed us, they would not have been killed." Say, "Then prevent death from yourselves, if you should be truthful."

Those who said of their brethren, while they themselves sat back: ‘Had they obeyed us, they would not have been killed.’ Say, ‘Then keep death off from yourselves, if you are truthful.’

Those who, while they sat at home, said of their brethren (who were fighting for the cause of Allah): If they had been guided by us they would not have been slain. Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Then avert death from yourselves if ye are truthful.

(They are) the ones that say, (of their brethren slain), while they themselves sit (at ease): "If only they had listened to us they would not have been slain." Say: "Avert death from your own selves, if ye speak the truth."

who said of their brothers (and they themselves held back), 'Had they obeyed us, they would not have been slain.' Say: 'Then avert death from yourselves, if you speak truly.'

همان کسانی که [از جنگ کناره گرفتند]، و در خانه های خود نشستند، و درباره برادرانشان گفتند: اگر از ما فرمان می بردند کشته نمی شدند. بگو: [چنانچه اختیار مرگ در دست شماست] پس مرگ را از خود دفع کنید، اگر راستگویید.

همان کسانی که [خود در خانه‌] نشستند و در باره دوستان خود گفتند: «اگر از ما پیروی می‌کردند کشته نمی‌شدند.» بگو: «اگر راست می‌گویید مرگ را از خودتان دور کنید.»

Onlar oturup, kardeşleri için: "Bize itaat etselerdi öldürülmezlerdi" dediler. De ki: "Eğer doğru sözlü iseniz, ölümü kendinizden savın".

Orang-orang yang mengatakan kepada saudara-saudaranya dan mereka tidak turut pergi berperang: "Sekiranya mereka mengikuti kita, tentulah mereka tidak terbunuh". Katakanlah: "Tolaklah kematian itu dari dirimu, jika kamu orang-orang yang benar".

یہی وہ لوگ ہیں جنہوں نے اپنے مقتول بھائیوں کے بارے میں یہ کہنا شروع کردیا کہ وہ ہماری اطاعت کرتے تو ہرگز قتل نہ ہوتے تو پیغمبر ان سے کہہ دیجئے کہ اگر اپنے دعوٰی میں سچےّ ہو تو اب اپنی ہی موت کو ٹال دو

ওরা হলো যে সব লোক, যারা বসে থেকে নিজেদের ভাইদের সম্বদ্ধে বলে, যদি তারা আমাদের কথা শুনত, তবে নিহত হত না। তাদেরকে বলে দিন, এবার তোমাদের নিজেদের উপর থেকে মৃত্যুকে সরিয়ে দাও, যদি তোমরা সত্যবাদী হয়ে থাক।
