And when a sign comes to them, they say, "Never will we believe until we are given like that which was given to the messengers of Allah." Allah is most knowing of where He places His message. There will afflict those who committed crimes debasement before Allah and severe punishment for what they used to conspire.

When a sign comes to them, they say, ‘We will not believe until we are given the like of what was given to Allah’s apostles.’ Allah knows best where to place His apostleship! Soon the guilty will be visited by a degradation and severe punishment from Allah because of the plots they used to devise.

And when a token cometh unto them, they say: We will not believe till we are given that which Allah's messengers are given. Allah knoweth best with whom to place His message. Humiliation from Allah and heavy punishment will smite the guilty for their scheming.

When there comes to them a sign (from Allah), They say: "We shall not believe until we receive one (exactly) like those received by Allah's messengers." Allah knoweth best where (and how) to carry out His mission. Soon will the wicked be overtaken by humiliation before Allah, and a severe punishment, for all their plots.

And when a sign came to them, they said, 'We will not believe until we are given the like of what God's Messengers were given.' God knows very well where to place His Message; and humiliation in God's sight shall befall the sinners, and a terrible chastisement, for what they devised.

و چون آیه و معجزه ای [بخاطر هدایت یافتنشان] به سوی آنان آید، می گویند: هرگز ایمان نمی آوریم تا نظیر آنچه به پیامبران خدا داده شده به ما هم داده شود. خدا داناتر است که مقام رسالت را در کجا قرار دهد؛ به زودی آنان را که گناه کرده اند به کیفر نیرنگی که [همواره برای گمراه کردن مردم] می زدند، در پیشگاه خدا ذلت و خواری و عذابی سخت خواهد رسید.

و چون آیتی برایشان بیاید، می‌گویند: «هرگز ایمان نمی‌آوریم تا اینکه نظیر آنچه به فرستادگان خدا داده شده است به ما [نیز] داده شود.» خدا بهتر می‌داند رسالتش را کجا قرار دهد. به زودی، کسانی را که مرتکب گناه شدند، به [سزای ]آنکه نیرنگ می‌کردند، در پیشگاه خدا خواری و شکنجه‌ای سخت خواهد رسید.

Onlara bir ayet geldiği zaman, "Allah'ın peygamberlerine verilen bize de verilmedikçe inanmayız" derler. Allah, peygamberliğini vereceği kimseyi daha iyi bilir. Suç işleyenlere Allah katından bir aşağılık ve hilelerinden ötürü de şiddetli bir azab erişecektir.

Apabila datang sesuatu ayat kepada mereka, mereka berkata: "Kami tidak akan beriman sehingga diberikan kepada kami yang serupa dengan apa yang telah diberikan kepada utusan-utusan Allah". Allah lebih mengetahui di mana Dia menempatkan tugas kerasulan. Orang-orang yang berdosa, nanti akan ditimpa kehinaan di sisi Allah dan siksa yang keras disebabkan mereka selalu membuat tipu daya.

اور جب ان کے پاس کوئی نشانی آتی ہے تو کہتے ہیں کہ ہم اس وقت تک ایمان نہ لائیں گے جب تک ہمیں بھی ویسی ہی وحی نہ دی جائے جیسی رسولوں کو دی گئی ہے جب کہ اللہ بہتر جانتا ہے کہ اپنی رسالت کو کہاں رکھے گا اور عنقریب مجرمین کو ان کے جرم کی پاداش میں خدا کے یہاں ذلّت اور شدید ترین عذاب کا سامنا کرنا ہوگا

যখন তাদের কাছে কোন আয়াত পৌঁছে, তখন বলে, আমরা কখনই মানব না যে, পর্যন্ত না আমরাও তা প্রদত্ত হই, যা আল্লাহর রসূলগণ প্রদত্ত হয়েছেন। আল্লাহ এ বিষয়ে সুপারিজ্ঞাত যে, কোথায় স্বীয় পয়গাম প্রেরণ করতে হবে। যারা অপরাধ করছে, তারা অতিসত্বর আল্লাহর কাছে পৌছে লাঞ্ছনা ও কঠোর শাস্তি পাবে, তাদের চক্রান্তের কারণে।
