And if their evasion is difficult for you, then if you are able to seek a tunnel into the earth or a stairway into the sky to bring them a sign, [then do so]. But if Allah had willed, He would have united them upon guidance. So never be of the ignorant.

And should their aversion be hard on you, find, if you can, a tunnel into the ground, or a ladder into sky, that you may bring them a sign. Had Allah wished, He would have brought them together on guidance. So do not be one of the ignorant.

And if their aversion is grievous unto thee, then, if thou canst, seek a way down into the earth or a ladder unto the sky that thou mayst bring unto them a portent (to convince them all)! - If Allah willed, He could have brought them all together to the guidance - So be not thou among the foolish ones.

If their spurning is hard on thy mind, yet if thou wert able to seek a tunnel in the ground or a ladder to the skies and bring them a sign,- (what good?). If it were Allah's will, He could gather them together unto true guidance: so be not thou amongst those who are swayed by ignorance (and impatience)!

And if their turning away is distressful for thee, why, if thou canst seek out a hole in the earth, or a ladder in heaven, to bring them some sign but had God willed, He would have gathered them to the guidance; so be not thou one of the ignorant.

و اگر روی گرداندن آنان [از قرآن و نبوّت] بر تو سنگین و دشوار است، اگر بتوانی نقبی در زمین، یا نردبانی برای راه یافتن در آسمان بجویی تا [از عمق زمین و پهنه آسمان] معجزه ای دیگر [غیر قرآن] برای آنان بیاوری [این کار را انجام ده ولی آنها ایمان نمی آورند]؛ و اگر خدا می خواست همه آنان را [به جبر و زور] به راه هدایت گرد می آورد؛ [ولی هدایت اجباری فاقد ارزش است] پس هرگز [نسبت به روحیات و اوصاف کافران لجوج که خواستار هدایت نیستند] از بی خبران مباش.

و اگر اعراض کردنِ آنان [از قرآن‌] بر تو گران است، اگر می‌توانی نَقْبی در زمین یا نردبانی در آسمان بجویی تا معجزه‌ای [دیگر] برایشان بیاوری [پس چنین کن‌]، و اگر خدا می‌خواست قطعاً آنان را بر هدایت گِرد می‌آورد، پس زنهار از نادانان مباش.

Onların yüz çevirmesi sana ağır gelince, eğer gücün yeri delmeye veya göğe merdiven dayamağa yetmiş olsaydı, onlara bir mucize göstermek isterdin. Allah dileseydi onları doğru yolda toplardı. Sakın bilmeyenlerden olma.

Dan jika perpalingan mereka (darimu) terasa amat berat bagimu, maka jika kamu dapat membuat lobang di bumi atau tangga ke langit lalu kamu dapat mendatangkan mukjizat kepada mereka (maka buatlah). Kalau Allah menghendaki, tentu saja Allah menjadikan mereka semua dalam petunjuk sebab itu janganlah sekali-kali kamu termasuk orang-orang yang jahil

اور اگر ان کا اعراض و انحراف آپ پر گراں گزرتا ہے تو اگر آپ کے بس میں ہے کہ زمین میں سرنگ بنادیں یا آسمان میں سیڑھی لگا کر کوئی نشانی لے آئیں تو لے آئیں ....بیشک اگر خدا چاہتا تو جبرا سب کو ہدایت پر جمع ہی کردیتا لہذا آپ اپنا شمار ناواقف لوگوں میں نہ ہونے دیں

আর যদি তাদের বিমুখতা আপনার পক্ষে কষ্টকর হয়, তবে আপনি যদি ভূতলে কোন সুড়ঙ্গ অথবা আকাশে কোন সিড়ি অনুসন্ধান করতে সমর্থ হন, অতঃপর তাদের কাছে কোন একটি মোজেযা আনতে পারেন, তবে নিয়ে আসুন। আল্লাহ ইচ্ছা করলে সবাইকে সরল পথে সমবেত করতে পারতেন। অতএব, আপনি নির্বোধদের অন্তর্ভুক্ত হবেন না।
