And when Our messengers came to Lot, he was distressed for them and felt for them great discomfort. They said, "Fear not, nor grieve. Indeed, we will save you and your family, except your wife; she is to be of those who remain behind.

And when Our messengers came to Lot, he was distressed on their account and in a predicament for their sake. But they said, ‘Do not be afraid, nor grieve! We shall deliver you and your family, except your wife: she will be one of those who remain behind.

And when Our messengers came unto Lot, he was troubled upon their account, for he could not protect them; but they said: Fear not, nor grieve! Lo! we are to deliver thee and thy household, (all) save thy wife, who is of those who stay behind.

And when Our Messengers came to Lut, he was grieved on their account, and felt himself powerless (to protect) them: but they said: "Fear thou not, nor grieve: we are (here) to save thee and thy following, except thy wife: she is of those who lag behind.

When that Our messengers came to Lot he was troubled on their account and distressed for them; but they said, 'Fear not, neither sorrow, for surely we shall deliver thee and thy family, except thy wife; she has become of those that tarry.

و چون فرستادگان ما نزد لوط آمدند به سبب [حضور] آنان [به صورت جوانانی آراسته] بدحال و بی طاقت شد، و گفتند: مترس و غمگین مباش، قطعاً ما نجات دهنده تو و خانواده ات هستیم، مگر همسرت را که از باقی ماندگان خواهد بود،

و هنگامی که فرستادگان ما به سوی لوط آمدند، به علت [حضور] ایشان ناراحت شد و دستش از [حمایت‌] آنها کوتاه گردید. گفتند: «مترس و غم مدار که ما تو و خانواده‌ات را -جز زنت که از باقی‌ماندگان [در خاکستر آتش‌] است- حتماً می رهانیم.

Elçilerimiz Lut'a gelince, onun fenasına gitti; çok sıkıldı. Ona, "Korkma ve üzülme, doğrusu biz seni ve geride kalacaklardan olan karının dışında, aileni kurtaracağız. Bu kent halkına yaptıkları yolsuzluklardan ötürü gökten, elbette bir azap indireceğiz" dediler.

Dan tatkala datang utusan-utusan Kami (para malaikat) itu kepada Luth, dia merasa susah karena (kedatangan) mereka, dan (merasa) tidak punya kekuatan untuk melindungi mereka dan mereka berkata: "Janganlah kamu takut dan jangan (pula) susah. Sesungguhnya kami akan menyelamatkan kamu dan pengikut-pengikutmu, kecuali isterimu, dia adalah termasuk orang-orang yang tertinggal (dibinasakan)".

پھر جب ہمارے فرشتے لوط کے پاس آئے تو وہ پریشان ہوگئے اور ان کی مہمانی کی طرف سے دل تنگ ہونے لگے ان لوگوں نے کہا کہ آپ ڈریں نہیں اور پریشان نہ ہوں ہم آپ کو اور آپ کے گھر والوں کو بچالیں گے صرف آپ کی زوجہ کو نہیں کہ وہ پیچھے رہ جانے والوں میں ہوگئی ہے

যখন আমার প্রেরিত ফেরেশতাগণ লূতের কাছে আগমন করল, তখন তাদের কারণে সে বিষন্ন হয়ে পড়ল এবং তার মন সংকীর্ণ হয়ে গেল। তারা বলল, ভয় করবেন না এবং দুঃখ করবেন না। আমরা আপনাকে ও আপনার পরিবারবর্গকে রক্ষা করবই আপনার স্ত্রী ব্যতীত, সে ধ্বংস প্রাপ্তদের অন্তর্ভূক্ত থাকবে।
