And We took the Children of Israel across the sea; then they came upon a people intent in devotion to [some] idols of theirs. They said, "O Moses, make for us a god just as they have gods." He said, "Indeed, you are a people behaving ignorantly.

We carried the Children of Israel across the sea, whereat they came upon a people cleaving to certain idols that they had. They said, ‘O Moses, make for us a god like the gods that they have.’ He said, ‘You are indeed an ignorant lot.

And We brought the Children of Israel across the sea, and they came unto a people who were given up to idols which they had. They said: O Moses! Make for us a god even as they have gods. He said: Lo! ye are a folk who know not.

We took the Children of Israel (with safety) across the sea. They came upon a people devoted entirely to some idols they had. They said: "O Moses! fashion for us a god like unto the gods they have." He said: "Surely ye are a people without knowledge.

And We brought the Children of Israel over the sea, and they came upon a people cleaving to idols they had. They said, 'Moses, make for us a god, as they have gods.' Said he, 'You are surely a people who are ignorant.

و بنی اسرائیل را از دریا [یی که فرعونیان را در آن غرق کردیم] عبور دادیم؛ پس به گروهی گذر کردند که همواره بر پرستش بت های خود ملازمت داشتند، گفتند: ای موسی! همان گونه که برای آنان معبودانی است، تو هم برای ما معبودی قرار بده!! موسی گفت: قطعاً شما گروهی هستید که جهالت و نادانی می ورزید.

و فرزندان اسرائیل را از دریا گذراندیم. تا به قومی رسیدند که بر [پرستش‌] بتهای خویش همت می‌گماشتند. گفتند: «ای موسی، همان گونه که برای آنان خدایانی است، برای ما [نیز] خدایی قرار ده.» گفت: «راستی شما نادانی می‌کنید.»

İsrailoğullarının denizden geçmelerini sağladık. Puta gönülden tapan bir millete rastladılar. "Ey Musa! Onların tanrıları gibi bize de bir tanrı yap" dediler, Musa: " Doğrusu siz bilgisiz bir milletsiniz, bunlar yok olacaklar ve işledikleri boşa gidecektir" dedi.

Dan Kami seberangkan Bani Israil ke seberang lautan itu, maka setelah mereka sampai kepada suatu kaum yang tetap menyembah berhala mereka, Bani lsrail berkata: "Hai Musa. buatlah untuk kami sebuah tuhan (berhala) sebagaimana mereka mempunyai beberapa tuhan (berhala)". Musa menjawab: "Sesungguh-nya kamu ini adalah kaum yang tidak mengetahui (sifat-sifat Tuhan)".

اور ہم نے بنی اسرائیل کو دریا پار پہنچا دیا تو وہ ایک ایسی قوم کے پاس پہنچے جو اپنے بتوں کے گرد مجمع لگائے بیٹھی تھی -ان لوگوں نے موسٰی علیھ السّلامسے کہا کہ موسٰی علیھ السّلامہمارے لئے بھی ایسا ہی خدا بنادو جیسا کہ ان کا خدا ہے انہوں نے کہا کہ تم لوگ بالکل جاہل ہو

বস্তুতঃ আমি সাগর পার করে দিয়েছি বনী-ইসরাঈলদিগকে। তখন তারা এমন এক সম্প্রদায়ের কাছে গিয়ে পৌছাল, যারা স্বহস্তনির্মিত মূর্তিপুজায় নিয়োজিত ছিল। তারা বলতে লাগল, হে মূসা; আমাদের উপাসনার জন্যও তাদের মূর্তির মতই একটি মূর্তি নির্মাণ করে দিন। তিনি বললেন, তোমাদের মধ্যে বড়ই অজ্ঞতা রয়েছে।
