But the answer of his people was only that they said, "Evict them from your city! Indeed, they are men who keep themselves pure."

وپاسخ قومش جز این نبود که به یکدیگر گفتند: اینان را از شهرتان بیرون کنید؛ زیرا مردمانی اند که همواره خود را پاک نشان می دهند.

ولی پاسخ قومش جز این نبود که گفتند: «آنان را از شهرتان بیرون کنید، زیرا آنان کسانی‌اند که به پاکی تظاهر می‌کنند.»

Milletinin cevabı sadece, "Onları kasabanızdan çıkarın, güya onlar temiz kalmaya uğraşan insanlarmış" demek oldu.

Jawab kaumnya tidak lain hanya mengatakan: "Usirlah mereka (Luth dan pengikut-pengikutnya) dari kotamu ini; sesungguhnya mereka adalah orang-orang yang berpura-pura mensucikan diri".

اور ان کی قوم کے پاس کوئی جواب نہ تھا سوائے اس کے کہ انہوں نے لوگوں کو ابھارا کہ انہیں اپنے قریہ سے نکال باہر کرو کہ یہ بہت پاک باز بنتے ہیں

তাঁর সম্প্রদায় এ ছাড়া কোন উত্তর দিল না যে, বের করে দাও এদেরকে শহর থেকে। এরা খুব সাধু থাকতে চায়।
