And [mention] when Abraham said, "My Lord, make this a secure city and provide its people with fruits - whoever of them believes in Allah and the Last Day." [Allah] said. "And whoever disbelieves - I will grant him enjoyment for a little; then I will force him to the punishment of the Fire, and wretched is the destination."

And when Abraham said, ‘My Lord, make this a secure town, and provide its people with fruits—such of them as have faith in Allah and the Last Day,’ He said, ‘As for him who is faithless, I will provide for him [too] for a short time, then I will shove him toward the punishment of the Fire and it is an evil destination.’

And when Abraham prayed: My Lord! Make this a region of security and bestow upon its people fruits, such of them as believe in Allah and the Last Day, He answered: As for him who disbelieveth, I shall leave him in contentment for a while, then I shall compel him to the doom of Fire - a hapless journey's end!

And remember Abraham said: "My Lord, make this a City of Peace, and feed its people with fruits,-such of them as believe in Allah and the Last Day." He said: "(Yea), and such as reject Faith,-for a while will I grant them their pleasure, but will soon drive them to the torment of Fire,- an evil destination (indeed)!"

And when Abraham said, 'My Lord, make this a land secure, and provide its people with fruits, such of them as believe in God and the Last Day.' He said, 'And whoso disbelieves, to him I shall give enjoyment a little, then I shall compel him to the chastisement of the Fire -- how evil a homecoming!'

و [یاد کنید] آن گاه که ابراهیم گفت: پروردگارا! این [مکان] را شهری امن قرار ده و اهلش را آنان که به خدا و روز قیامت ایمان آورده اند از هر نوع میوه و محصول روزی بخش. خدا فرمود: [دعایت را درباره مؤمنان اجابت کردم، ولی] هر که کفر ورزد بهره اندکی به او خواهم داد، سپس او را به عذاب آتش می کشانم و آن بد بازگشت گاهی است.

و چون ابراهیم گفت: «پروردگارا، این [سرزمین‌] را شهری امن گردان، و مردمش را -هر کس از آنان که به خدا و روز بازپسین ایمان بیاورد- از فرآورده‌ها روزی بخش»، فرمود: «و[لی‌] هر کس کفر بورزد، اندکی برخوردارش می‌کنم، سپس او را با خواری به سوی عذاب آتش [دوزخ‌] می‌کشانم، و چه بد سرانجامی است.»

İbrahim: "Rabbim! Burasını emin bir şehir kıl, halkından, Allah'a ve ahiret gününe inananları ürünlerle rızıklandır" demişti. Allah da: "İnkar edeni de az bir müddet geçindirir, sonra da onu ateşin azabına uğramak zorunda bırakırım, ne kötü sonuç" buyurmuştu.

Dan (ingatlah), ketika Ibrahim berdoa: "Ya Tuhanku, jadikanlah negeri ini, negeri yang aman sentosa, dan berikanlah rezeki dari buah-buahan kepada penduduknya yang beriman diantara mereka kepada Allah dan hari kemudian. Allah berfirman: "Dan kepada orang yang kafirpun Aku beri kesenangan sementara, kemudian Aku paksa ia menjalani siksa neraka dan itulah seburuk-buruk tempat kembali".

اور اس وقت کویاد کرو جب ابراہیم علیھ السّلام نے دعا کی کہ پروردگار اس شہر کو امن کاشہر قرار دے دے اور اس کے ان اہلِ شہر کو جو اللہ اور آخرت پر ایمان رکھتے ہوں پھلوں کا رزق عطا فرما. ارشاد ہوا کہ پھر جو کافر ہوجائیں گے انہیں دنیا میں تھوڑی نعمتیں دے کر آخرت میں عذابِ جہّنم میں زبردستی ڈھکیل دیا جائے گا جو بدترین انجام ہے

যখন ইব্রাহীম বললেন, পরওয়ারদেগার! এ স্থানকে তুমি শান্তিধান কর এবং এর অধিবাসীদের মধ্যে যারা অল্লাহ ও কিয়ামতে বিশ্বাস করে, তাদেরকে ফলের দ্বারা রিযিক দান কর। বললেনঃ যারা অবিশ্বাস করে, আমি তাদেরও কিছুদিন ফায়দা ভোগ করার সুযোগ দেব, অতঃপর তাদেরকে বলপ্রয়োগে দোযখের আযাবে ঠেলে দেবো; সেটা নিকৃষ্ট বাসস্থান।
