How wretched is that for which they sold themselves - that they would disbelieve in what Allah has revealed through [their] outrage that Allah would send down His favor upon whom He wills from among His servants. So they returned having [earned] wrath upon wrath. And for the disbelievers is a humiliating punishment.

Evil is that for which they have sold their souls, by defying what Allah has sent down, out of envy that Allah should bestow His grace on any of His servants that He wishes. Thus, they earned wrath upon wrath, and there is a humiliating punishment for the faithless.

Evil is that for which they sell their souls: that they should disbelieve in that which Allah hath revealed, grudging that Allah should reveal of His bounty unto whom He will of His slaves. They have incurred anger upon anger. For disbelievers is a shameful doom.

Miserable is the price for which they have sold their souls, in that they deny (the revelation) which Allah has sent down, in insolent envy that Allah of His Grace should send it to any of His servants He pleases: Thus have they drawn on themselves Wrath upon Wrath. And humiliating is the punishment of those who reject Faith.

Evil is the thing they have sold themselves for, disbelieving in that which God sent down, grudging that God should send down of His bounty on whomsoever He will of His servants, and they were laden with anger upon anger; and for unbelievers awaits a humbling chastisement.

بد چیزی است آنچه خود را به آن فروختند که کفر ورزیدن از روی حسادت به کتابی است که خدا نازل کرده [معترضانه می گویند:] چرا خدا از فضل و احسانش به هر که از بندگانش بخواهد [کتاب آسمانی] نازل می کند، پس آنان به خشمی بر روی خشمی سزاوار شدند. و برای کافران عذابی خوار کننده است.

وه که به چه بد بهایی خود را فروختند که به آنچه خدا نازل کرده بود از سر رشک انکار آوردند، که چرا خداوند از فضل خویش بر هر کس از بندگانش که بخواهد [آیاتی‌] فرو می‌فرستد. پس به خشمی بر خشم دیگر گرفتار آمدند. و برای کافران عذابی خفت‌آور است.

Allah'ın kullarından dilediğine, bol ihsanından indirmesini çekemeyerek, Allah'ın indirdiğini inkar etmekle, kendilerini ne kötü bir şey karşılığında sattılar. Bu yüzden gazab üstüne gazaba uğradılar. Kafirlere alçaltıcı bir azab vardır.

Alangkah buruknya (hasil perbuatan) mereka yang menjual dirinya sendiri dengan kekafiran kepada apa yang telah diturunkan Allah, karena dengki bahwa Allah menurunkan karunia-Nya kepada siapa yang dikehendaki-Nya diantara hamba-hamba-Nya. Karena itu mereka mendapat murka sesudah (mendapat) kemurkaan. Dan untuk orang-orang kafir siksaan yang menghinakan.

ان لوگوں نے اپنے نفس کا کتنا برا سودا کیا ہے کہ زبردستی خدا کے نازل کئے کا انکار کر بیٹھے اس ضد میں کہ خدا اپنے فضل و کر م سے اپنے جس بندے پر جو چاہے نازل کردیتا ہے. اب یہ غضب بالائے غضب کے حقدار ہیں اور ان کے لئے رسوا کن عذاب بھی ہے

যার বিনিময়ে তারা নিজেদের বিক্রি করেছে, তা খুবই মন্দ; যেহেতু তারা আল্লাহ যা নযিল করেছেন, তা অস্বীকার করেছে এই হঠকারিতার দরুন যে, আল্লাহ স্বীয় বান্দাদের মধ্যে যার প্রতি ইচ্ছা অনুগ্রহ নাযিল করেন। অতএব, তারা ক্রোধের উপর ক্রোধ অর্জন করেছে। আর কাফেরদের জন্য রয়েছে অপমানজনক শাস্তি।
