هوی‌پرستی؛ دردی خطرناک

بی‌شک غرایز و امیال گوناگونی در انسان وجود دارد که همةٌ آنها برای ادامةٌ حیات او ضروری است: خشم و غضبء علاقه به خویشتن» علاقه به زندگی مادی و امثال اینها. بدون تردید خالق دستگاه آفرینش» همةٌ اینها را برای همان هدف تکاملی آفریده؛ اما گاه اینها از حد تجاوز می‌کنند و از صورت یک ابزار مطبع در دست عقل در می‌آیند و حتی عقل را زندانی کرده» بر کل وجود انسان حاکم می‌شوند و زمام اختیار او را در دست می‌گیرند. این همان هوی‌پرستی است که از هر نوع بت‌پرستی نیز خطرناک‌تر است؛ بلکه بت‌پرستی نیز از آن ریشه می‌گیرد. بی‌جهت نیست که پیامبر اسلام(ص) فرموده است: «در زیر آسمان هیچ بتی بزرگ‌تر از هوی و هوسی که از آن پیروی کنند. وجود ندارد.» در دیگر روایات نیز تعبیرات تکان‌دهنده‌ای در این زمینه به چشم می‌خورد. در روایتی از امام علی(ع) می‌خوانیم: «هوی‌پرستی, اساس تمام رنج‌ها است.» همان حضرت در بیانی دیگر می‌فرماید: «هرگز نه دین با هوی‌پرستی جمع می‌شود و نه عقل.» بسا کسانی که چوب یک ساعت هوی‌پرستی را تا آخر عمر می‌خورند و بسا افرادی از دوستان خدا که بر اثر ترک هوی‌پرستی به مقام‌های بلندی نایل شده‌اند که از راه‌های عادی غیر ممکن بوده است. > **پانوشت صفحه (منابع):** > ۱- المیزان» ج۰۱۵ ص ۲۱۸ ۲ نمونهء ج۱۵ ص ۱۰۲ > ۲- نمونهء ج۱۵ ص ۱۰۳ > **Cited sources** (grade before any load-bearing use): Tafsīr Nemūneh, al-Mīzān.
