تلاشی پر رنج به سوی کمال مطلق

این آیه به یک اصل اساسی در حیات همةٌ انسان‌ها اشاره دارد و آَنْ اصلء این است که زندگی همواره با زحمت و رنج و تعب آمیخته است؛ حتی اگر هدفء» رسیدن به متاع دنیا باشد؛ تا چه رسد به این که هدفء أخرت و سعادت جاودان و قرب پروردگار باشد. این طبیست زندگی دنیا است. حتی افرادی که در نهایت رفاه زندگی می‌کنند نیز از رنج و زحمت و درد برکنار نیستند. تعبیر ملاقات پروردگار در اینجاء خواه اشاره به ملاقات صحنةٌ قیامت باشد که صحنةٌ حاکمیت مطلقةٌ اوست یا ملاقات جزا و پاداش و کیفر او یا ملاقات خود او از طریق مشاهدةٌ باطنی» نشان می‌دهد که این رنج و تب تا آن روز ادامه خواهد یافت و زمانی به پایان می‌رسد که پروندة این دنیا بسته شود و انسان با عملی پاک خدای خویش را ملاقات کند. آری» راحتی بی‌رنج و تَعّب تنها در آنجا است. در حدیث بسیار پر معنایی از امام سجّاد(ع) می‌خوانیم: «راحت و آسایش در دنیا و برای اهل دنیا وجود ندارد. راحت و آسایش تنها برای بهشت و اهل آن آفریده شده است. رنج و تعب در دنیا آفریده شده و برای اهل دنیا و (به همین دلیل) هیچ کس پیمانه‌ای از آن به دست نمی‌آورد مگر اینکه دو برابر آن حرص نصیب‌اش می‌گردد و کسانی که از دنیا بیشتر دارند» فقیرترند؛ زیرا در حفظ اموال خویش محتاج دیگران و (برای حفظ آن) به تمام اسباب دنیوی نیازمندند. بنابر این در ثروت دنیا نیز راحتی وجود ندارد.» سپس امام(ع) در ذیل حدیث فرموده‌اند: «هرگز دوستان خدا در دنیا به خاطر دنیا رنج و تعب نمی‌کشند؛ بلکه رنج و تعب آنها در دنیا برای آخرت است.»
