مِنْهُمْ لَمَّا بِهِمْ وَهُوَ ﴿٣﴾

And [to] others of them who have not yet joined them. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

قرآن حکیم (شرح آیات منتخب)

گروه دیگری که هنوز به آنها ملحق نشده‌اند

از آن‌رو که پیامبر اسلام فقط برای مردم درس‌نخواندة عرب مبعوث نشده‌و دعوتش جهانی بودء این آیه تمام مسلمانانی را که بعد از مسلمانان صدر اسلام به دین اسلام مشرف می‌شوند شامل می‌شود. در حدیثی می‌خوانیم که هنگامی‌که پیغمبر اکرم این آیه را تلاوت می‌فرمودء اصحاب سوّال کردند: اینها کیان‌اند؟ پیامبر (ص) دست خود را بر شانة سلمان فارسی گذارد و فرمود: «اگر ایمان در ثریا (ستارةٌ دوردستی که در دوری ضرب‌المثل است) باشد. مردانی از این گروه (یعنی ایرانیان) به آن دست می‌یابند.»
