Translation

Saheeh International

Wealth and children are [but] adornment of the worldly life. But the enduring good deeds are better to your Lord for reward and better for [one's] hope.

باقیات صالحات

منظور از باقیات صالحاتء کارهای شایسته است. به نص قرآن کریم» اعمال انسان نزد خدا محفوظ و باقی است و اگر آن اعمال, صالح باشدء باقیات‌الصالحات است. در روایاتی از معصومین (ع) وارد شده که منظور از باقیات‌الصالحات نماز است و برخی دیگرء دوستی اهل بیت(ع) را مصداق آن ذکر می‌کنند. روشن است که هر یک از این روایات» مصداقی از مصادیق باقیات‌الصالحات را ذکر می‌کنند و نه ای که معنای آن را حصر کنند.!

    And it is not your wealth or your children that bring you nearer to Us in position, but it is [by being] one who has believed and done righteousness. For them there will be the…

  • وَلَأَجْرُ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ خَيْرٌ لِّلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَكَانُوا۟ يَتَّقُونَ

    And the reward of the Hereafter is better for those who believed and were fearing Allah.

  • لَهُم مَّا يَشَآءُونَ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ ذَٰلِكَ جَزَآءُ ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ

    They will have whatever they desire with their Lord. That is the reward of the doers of good -

  • لَٰكِنِ ٱلرَّسُولُ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ مَعَهُۥ جَٰهَدُوا۟ بِأَمْوَٰلِهِمْ وَأَنفُسِهِمْ وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمُ ٱلْخَيْرَٰتُ وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ

    But the Messenger and those who believed with him fought with their wealth and their lives. Those will have [all that is] good, and it is those who are the successful.

  • مَن كَانَ يُرِيدُ ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَا وَزِينَتَهَا نُوَفِّ إِلَيْهِمْ أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ فِيهَا وَهُمْ فِيهَا لَا يُبْخَسُونَ

    Whoever desires the life of this world and its adornments - We fully repay them for their deeds therein, and they therein will not be deprived.
