So they set out, until when they had embarked on the ship, al-Khidh r tore it open. [Moses] said, "Have you torn it open to drown its people? You have certainly done a grave thing."

So they went on and when they boarded the boat, he made a hole in it. He said, ‘Did you make a hole in it to drown its people? You have certainly done a monstrous thing!’

So they twain set out till, when they were in the ship, he made a hole therein. (Moses) said: Hast thou made a hole therein to drown the folk thereof? Thou verily hast done a dreadful thing.

So they both proceeded: until, when they were in the boat, he scuttled it. Said Moses: "Hast thou scuttled it in order to drown those in it? Truly a strange thing hast thou done!"

So they departed; until, when they embarked upon the ship, he made a hole in it. He said, 'What, hast thou made a hole in it so as to drown its passengers? Thou hast indeed done a grievous thing.'

پس هر دو به راه افتادند تا وقتی که در کشتی سوار شدند، او شکافی در کشتی ایجاد کرد. موسی گفت: آیا آن را شکافتی تا سرنشینانش را غرق کنی؟ به راستی که کاری بسیار زشت کردی!

پس رهسپار گردیدند، تا وقتی که سوار کشتی شدند، [وی‌] آن را سوراخ کرد. [موسی‌] گفت: «آیا کشتی را سوراخ کردی تا سرنشینانش را غرق کنی؟ واقعاً به کار ناروایی مبادرت ورزیدی.»

Bunun üzerine kalkıp gittiler; sonunda bir gemiye bindiklerinde, o gemiyi deliverdi; Musa: "Gemiyi içindekileri boğmak için mi deldin? Doğrusu şaşılacak bir şey yaptın" dedi.

Maka berjalanlah keduanya, hingga tatkala keduanya menaiki perahu lalu Khidhr melobanginya. Musa berkata: "Mengapa kamu melobangi perahu itu akibatnya kamu menenggelamkan penumpangnya?" Sesungguhnya kamu telah berbuat sesuatu kesalahan yang besar.

پس دونوں چلے یہاں تک کہ جب کشتی میں سوار ہوئے تو اس بندہ خدا نے اس میں سوراخ کردیا موسٰی نے کہا کہ کیا آپ نے اس لئے سوراخ کیا ہے کہ سواریوں کو ڈبو دیں یہ تو بڑی عجیب و غریب بات ہے

অতঃপর তারা চলতে লাগলঃ অবশেষে যখন তারা নৌকায় আরোহণ করল, তখন তিনি তাতে ছিদ্র করে দিলেন। মূসা বললেনঃ আপনি কি এর আরোহীদেরকে ডুবিয়ে দেয়ার জন্যে এতে ছিদ্র করে দিলেন? নিশ্চয়ই আপনি একটি গুরুতর মন্দ কাজ করলেন।
