Saheeh International

[He] who created death and life to test you [as to] which of you is best in deed - and He is the Exalted in Might, the Forgiving -

قرآن حکیم (شرح آیات منتخب)

مرگ و حیات؛ وسیلة آزمایش

مرگ اگر به معنای فساد و نیستی باشدء مخلوق نیست؛ چرا که خلقت به امور وجودی تعلق می‌گیرد؛ اما می‌دانیم که حقیقت مرگ انتقال از جهانی به جهان دیگر است و این بی‌شک یک امر وجودی است که می‌تواند مخلوق باشد و اگر مرگ در اینجا قبل از حیات ذکر شده» به خاطر تأثیر عمیقی است که توجه به مرگ در خُسن عمل انسان‌ها دارد. منظور از آزمایش خداوند نیز نوعی پرورش است؛ بدین معنا که انسان‌ها را به میدان عمل می‌کشد تا ورزیده و پاکیزه و لایق قرب خدا گردند. شایان توجه این که هدف آزمایش را نیکویی عمل معرفی کرده و نه زیادی عمل. این دلیل بر این است که اسلام به کیفیت اهمیت می‌دهد. نه به کمیت. مهم این است که عملء خالصانه و برای خدا باشد؛ هر چند از نظر کمیت کم باشد. در روایتی از پیامبر(ص) نقل شده است: «منظور این است که کدام‌یک از شما عقل کامل‌تری دارد و از خدا بیشتر می‌ترسد و آگاهی بیشتری از فرامین و نواهی خداوند دارد؛ اگرچه اعمال مستحب را کمتر انجام دهد.» بدیمی است که عقل کامل, عمل را پاک‌تر و نیت را خالص‌تر و پاداش را بیشتر می‌کند.

    And it is He who created the heavens and the earth in six days - and His Throne had been upon water - that He might test you as to which of you is best in deed. But if you say…

  • وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَحْيَاكُمْ ثُمَّ يُمِيتُكُمْ ثُمَّ يُحْيِيكُمْ إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ لَكَفُورٌ

    And He is the one who gave you life; then He causes you to die and then will [again] give you life. Indeed, mankind is ungrateful.

  • هُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكُم مِّن تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ عَلَقَةٍ ثُمَّ يُخْرِجُكُمْ طِفْلًا ثُمَّ لِتَبْلُغُوٓا۟ أَشُدَّكُمْ ثُمَّ لِتَكُونُوا۟ شُيُوخًا وَمِنكُم مَّن يُتَوَفَّىٰ مِن قَبْلُ وَلِتَبْلُغُوٓا۟ أَجَلًا مُّسَمًّى وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ

    It is He who created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop, then from a clinging clot; then He brings you out as a child; then [He develops you] that you reach your [time of]…

  • لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ يُحْىِۦ وَيُمِيتُ رَبُّكُمْ وَرَبُّ ءَابَآئِكُمُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

    There is no deity except Him; He gives life and causes death. [He is] your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers.

  • وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنشَأَ لَكُمُ ٱلسَّمْعَ وَٱلْأَبْصَٰرَ وَٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةَ قَلِيلًا مَّا تَشْكُرُونَ

    And it is He who produced for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful.
