But when they saw it, they said, "Indeed, we are lost;

پس چون [به باغ رسیدند و آن را نابود] دیدند، گفتند: یقیناً ما گمراه بوده ایم [که چنان تصمیم خلاف حقّی درباره مستمندان و تهیدستان گرفتیم.]

و چون [باغ‌] را دیدند، گفتند: «قطعاً ما راه گم کرده‌ایم.

Bahçeyi gördüklerinde: "Herhalde yolumuzu şaşırmış olacağız; belki de biz yoksun bırakıldık" dediler.

Tatkala mereka melihat kebun itu, mereka berkata: "Sesungguhnya kita benar-benar orang-orang yang sesat (jalan),

اب جو باغ کو دیکھا تو کہنے لگے کہ ہم تو بہک گئے

অতঃপর যখন তারা বাগান দেখল, তখন বললঃ আমরা তো পথ ভূলে গেছি।
