ٱلَّذِينَ مِن فَإِنَّ ﴿١٣٩﴾

Translation

Saheeh International

Those who take disbelievers as allies instead of the believers. Do they seek with them honor [through power]? But indeed, honor belongs to Allah entirely.

عزت نزد خداست؛ نه دشمنان خدا

این آّیه به همةٌ مسلمانان هشدار می‌دهد که عزت خود را در همه شئون زندگی - اعم از شئون اقتصادی» فرهنگی» سیاسی و مانند آن - در دوستی با دشمنان اسلام نجویند؛ بلکه تکیه‌گاه خود را ذات پاک خداوندی قرار دهند که سرچشمةٌ همةٌ عزت‌هاست. غیر خدا از دشمنان اسلامء نه عزتی دارند که به کسی ببخشند و نه اگر می‌داشتندء سزاوار اعتماد بودند؛ زیرا هر روزی که منافع آنها اقتضا کند. فوراً صمیمی‌ترین متحدان خود را رها می‌کنند و به سراغ کار خویش می‌روند که گویی هرگز با هم آشنایی نداشته‌اند؛ حتی در بسیاری از موارد حاضرند دوستان خود را فدا کنند تا به منافع خویش برسند؛ چنان که تاریخ معاصرء شاهد بسیار گویای این واقعیت است.

    But they worship rather than Allah that which does not benefit them or harm them, and the disbeliever is ever, against his Lord, an assistant [to Satan].

  • يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تَتَّخِذُوا۟ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ أَوْلِيَآءَ مِن دُونِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَتُرِيدُونَ أَن تَجْعَلُوا۟ لِلَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ سُلْطَٰنًا مُّبِينًا

    O you who have believed, do not take the disbelievers as allies instead of the believers. Do you wish to give Allah against yourselves a clear case?

  • يَعْرِفُونَ نِعْمَتَ ٱللَّهِ ثُمَّ يُنكِرُونَهَا وَأَكْثَرُهُمُ ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ

    They recognize the favor of Allah; then they deny it. And most of them are disbelievers.

  • يَحْلِفُونَ بِٱللَّهِ لَكُمْ لِيُرْضُوكُمْ وَٱللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُۥٓ أَحَقُّ أَن يُرْضُوهُ إِن كَانُوا۟ مُؤْمِنِينَ

    They swear by Allah to you [Muslims] to satisfy you. But Allah and His Messenger are more worthy for them to satisfy, if they should be believers.

  • وَلَمَّا جَآءَهُمْ كِتَٰبٌ مِّنْ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ مُصَدِّقٌ لِّمَا مَعَهُمْ وَكَانُوا۟ مِن قَبْلُ يَسْتَفْتِحُونَ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُم مَّا عَرَفُوا۟ كَفَرُوا۟ بِهِۦ فَلَعْنَةُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَى ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ

    And when there came to them a Book from Allah confirming that which was with them - although before they used to pray for victory against those who disbelieved - but [then] when…
