Indeed, the hypocrites [think to] deceive Allah, but He is deceiving them. And when they stand for prayer, they stand lazily, showing [themselves to] the people and not remembering Allah except a little,

The hypocrites indeed seek to deceive Allah, but it is He who outwits them. When they stand up for prayer, they stand up lazily, showing off to the people and not remembering Allah except a little,

Lo! the hypocrites seek to beguile Allah, but it is He Who beguileth them. When they stand up to worship they perform it languidly and to be seen of men, and are mindful of Allah but little;

The Hypocrites - they think they are over-reaching Allah, but He will over-reach them: When they stand up to prayer, they stand without earnestness, to be seen of men, but little do they hold Allah in remembrance;

The hypocrites seek to trick God, but God is tricking them. When they stand up to pray they stand up lazily, showing off to the people and not remembering God save a little;

منافقان همواره با خدا نیرنگ می کنند، و حال آنکه خدا کیفر دهنده نیرنگ آنان است. و هنگامی که به نماز می ایستند، با کسالت می ایستند، و همواره در برابر مردم ریاکاری می کنند؛ و خدا را جز اندکی به یاد نمی آورند.

منافقان، با خدا نیرنگ می‌کنند، و حال آنکه او با آنان نیرنگ خواهد کرد؛ و چون به نماز ایستند با کسالت برخیزند. با مردم ریا می‌کنند و خدا را جز اندکی یاد نمی‌کنند.

Doğrusu münafıklar Allah'ı aldatmağa çalışırlar, oysa O, onlara aldatmanın ne olduğunu gösterecektir. Onlar namaza tembel tembel kalkarlar, insanlara gösteriş yaparlar, ne onlarla, ne de bunlarla olur, ikisi arasında bocalayarak Allah'ı pek az anarlar. Allah'ın saptırdığı kimseye yol bulamayacaksın.

Sesungguhnya orang-orang munafik itu menipu Allah, dan Allah akan membalas tipuan mereka. Dan apabila mereka berdiri untuk shalat mereka berdiri dengan malas. Mereka bermaksud riya (dengan shalat) di hadapan manusia. Dan tidaklah mereka menyebut Allah kecuali sedikit sekali.

منافقین خدا کو دھوکہ دینا چاہتے ہیں اور خدا ان کو دھوکہ میں رکھنے والا ہے اور یہ نماز کے لئے اٹھتے بھی ہیں تو سستی کے ساتھ- لوگوں کو دکھانے کے لئے عمل کرتے ہیں اور اللہ کو بہت کم یاد کرتے ہیں

অবশ্যই মুনাফেকরা প্রতারণা করছে আল্লাহর সাথে, অথচ তারা নিজেরাই নিজেদের প্রতারিত করে। বস্তুতঃ তারা যখন নামাযে দাঁড়ায় তখন দাঁড়ায়, একান্ত শিথিল ভাবে লোক দেখানোর জন্য। আর তারা আল্লাহকে অল্পই স্মরণ করে।
