For wrongdoing on the part of the Jews, We made unlawful for them [certain] good foods which had been lawful to them, and for their averting from the way of Allah many [people],

Due to the wrongdoing of the Jews, We prohibited them certain good things that were permitted to them [earlier], and for their barring many [people] from the way of Allah,

Because of the wrongdoing of the Jews We forbade them good things which were (before) made lawful unto them, and because of their much hindering from Allah's way,

For the iniquity of the Jews We made unlawful for them certain (foods) good and wholesome which had been lawful for them;- in that they hindered many from Allah's Way;-

And for the evildoing of those of Jewry, We have forbidden them certain good things that were permitted to them, and for their barring from God's way many,

پس به کیفر ستمی که یهودیان [به آیات خدا و بر خود و دیگران] روا داشتند، و به سزای آنکه بسیاری از مردم را از راه خدا بازداشتند، چیزهای پاکیزه ای را که بر آنان حلال شده بود [مانند صید ماهی و خوردنِ چربی و شیر و گوشت حیوانات] حرام کردیم.

پس به سزای ستمی که از یهودیان سر زد و به سبب آنکه [مردم را] بسیار از راه خدا باز داشتند، چیزهای پاکیزه‌ای را که بر آنان حلال شده بود حرام گردانیدیم؛

Yahudilerin haksızlıklarından, çoklarını Allah yolundan menetmelerinden, yasak edilmişken faiz almaları ve insanların mallarını haksızlıkla yemelerinden ötürü kendilerine helal kılınan temiz şeyleri onlara haram kıldık. Onlardan inkar edenlere, elem verici azab hazırladık.

Maka disebabkan kezaliman orang-orang Yahudi, kami haramkan atas (memakan makanan) yang baik-baik (yang dahulunya) dihalalkan bagi mereka, dan karena mereka banyak menghalangi (manusia) dari jalan Allah,

پس ان یہودیوں کے ظلم کی بنا پر ہم نے جن پاکیزہ چیزوں کو حلال کر رکھا تھا ان پر حرام کردیا اور ان کے بہت سے لوگوں کو راسِ خدا سے روکنے کی بنا پر

বস্তুতঃ ইহুদীদের জন্য আমি হারাম করে দিয়েছি বহু পূত-পবিত্র বস্তু যা তাদের জন্য হালাল ছিল-তাদের পাপের কারণে এবং আল্লাহর পথে অধিক পরিমাণে বাধা দানের দরুন।
