فرشتگانی آمادة انجام مأموریت

در این که این آّیات به چه گروه یاگروه هایی‌اشاره دارده سخنان گوناگونی به میان آمده است. علامةٌ طباطبایی پس از نقل این سخنان می‌گوید: احتمال دارد - و خدا می‌داند - که منظورء سه گروه از فرشتگان باشند که مأمور نازل کردن وحی بودند و راه این کار را از مداخلةٌ شیطان‌ها ایمن می‌کردند و آن را به پیامبران و به خصوص پیامبر اسلام می‌رساندند. این معنا از آیات ۲۶ تا ۲۸ سورةٌ جن نیز استفاده می‌شود؛ چنان که می‌فرماید: «دانای غیب اوست و هیچ کس را بر اسرار غیبش آگاه نمی‌کند مگر رسولانی که آنها را برگزیده و مراقبینی از پیش رو و پشت سر بر آنها قرار می‌دهد تا بداند پیامبرانش رسالت‌های پروردگارشان را ابلاغ کرده‌اند و او به آنچه نزد آنهاست. احاطه دارد و همه چیز را برشمرده است.» بنابر این احتمال, معنای آیات چنین می‌شود: سوگند به فرشتگانی که بر سر راه وحی صف کشیده‌اند و سپس به فرشتگانی که شیاطین را از مداخله در وحی الهی نهی می‌کنند و باز می‌دارند و سپس به فرشتگانی که وحی را بر پیامبر می‌خوانند. موّید این احتمال این است که آیات مربوط به راندن شیاطین با شهاب» بعد از این آیات قرار گرفته است.
