إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ أَن ﴿٨٧﴾

Translation

Saheeh International

And We inspired to Moses and his brother, "Settle your people in Egypt in houses and make your houses [facing the] qiblah and establish prayer and give good tidings to the believers."

آغاز شهرنشینی بنی‌اسوائیل

«قبلة» در اصل به معنای حالت تقابل و رو به رو بودن است و اطلاق کلمهٌ قبله بر آنچه امروز معروف استء به دلیل معنای ثانوی این کلمه است. در تفسیر این آیه گفته‌اند که خداوند به موسی و برادرش(ع) وحی فرستاد که شما برای قومتان خانه‌هایی در مصر بسازید تا در آن سکونت کنند. گویی بنی‌اسرائیل تا آن زمان زندگی شهری نداشتند؛ بلکه مانند صحرانشینان در خیمه‌ها و مکان‌هایی نظیر خیمه زندگی می‌کردند. به آنان گفته شد که خانه‌هایتان را رو به روی هم و در یک جهت قرار دهید تا دیوار به دیوار یکدیگر باشد تا امکان تبلیغ و مشورت و خواندن نماز به صورت جماعت وجود آنها کرد و از خدا خواست که فرعونیان هرگز ایمان نیاورند و ایمانشان تنها هنگامی باشد که
