Say, "Come, I will recite what your Lord has prohibited to you. [He commands] that you not associate anything with Him, and to parents, good treatment, and do not kill your children out of poverty; We will provide for you and them. And do not approach immoralities - what is apparent of them and what is concealed. And do not kill the soul which Allah has forbidden [to be killed] except by [legal] right. This has He instructed you that you may use reason."

Say, ‘Come, I will recount what your Lord has forbidden you. That you shall not ascribe any partners to Him, and you shall be good to the parents, you shall not kill your children due to penury—We will provide for you and for them—you shall not approach indecencies, the outward among them and the inward ones, and you shall not kill a soul [whose life] Allah has made inviolable, except with due cause. This is what He has enjoined upon you so that you may exercise your reason.

Say: Come, I will recite unto you that which your Lord hath made a sacred duty for you: That ye ascribe no thing as partner unto Him and that ye do good to parents, and that ye slay not your children because of penury - We provide for you and for them - and that ye draw not nigh to lewd things whether open or concealed. And that ye slay not the life which Allah hath made sacred, save in the course of justice. This He hath command you, in order that ye may discern.

Say: "Come, I will rehearse what Allah hath (really) prohibited you from": Join not anything as equal with Him; be good to your parents; kill not your children on a plea of want;- We provide sustenance for you and for them;- come not nigh to shameful deeds. Whether open or secret; take not life, which Allah hath made sacred, except by way of justice and law: thus doth He command you, that ye may learn wisdom.

Say: 'Come, I will recite what your Lord has forbidden you: that you associate not anything with Him, and to be good to your parents, and not to slay your children because of poverty; We will provide you and them and that you approach not any indecency outward or inward, and that you slay not the soul God has forbidden, except by right. That then He has charged you with; haply you will understand.

بگو: بیایید تا آنچه را پروردگارتان بر شما حرام کرده بخوانم: اینکه چیزی را شریک او قرار مدهید، و به پدر و مادر نیکی کنید، و فرزندانتان را از [ترسِ] تنگدستی نکشید، ما شما و آنان را روزی می دهیم، و به کارهای زشت چه آشکار و چه پنهانش نزدیک نشوید، و انسانی را که خدا محترم شمرده جز به حق نکشید؛ خدا این [گونه] به شما سفارش کرده تا بیندیشید.

بگو: «بیایید تا آنچه را پروردگارتان بر شما حرام کرده برای شما بخوانم: چیزی را با او شریک قرار مدهید؛ و به پدر و مادر احسان کنید؛ و فرزندان خود را از بیم تنگدستی مکشید؛ ما شما و آنان را روزی می‌رسانیم؛ و به کارهای زشت -چه علنی آن و چه پوشیده‌[اش‌]- نزدیک مشوید؛ و نَفْسی را که خدا حرام گردانیده، جز بحق مکشید. اینهاست که [خدا] شما را به [انجام دادن‌] آن سفارش کرده است، باشد که بیندیشد.

De ki: "Gelin size Rabbinizin haram kıldığı şeyleri söyleyeyim: O'na hiçbir şeyi ortak koşmayın, anaya babaya iyilik yapın, yoksulluk korkusuyla çocuklarınızı öldürmeyin, sizin ve onların rızkını veren Biziz, gizli ve açık kötülüklere yaklaşmayın, Allah'ın haram kıldığı cana haksız yere kıymayın. Allah bunları size düşünesiniz diye buyurmaktadır."

Katakanlah: "Marilah kubacakan apa yang diharamkan atas kamu oleh Tuhanmu yaitu: janganlah kamu mempersekutukan sesuatu dengan Dia, berbuat baiklah terhadap kedua orang ibu bapa, dan janganlah kamu membunuh anak-anak kamu karena takut kemiskinan, Kami akan memberi rezeki kepadamu dan kepada mereka, dan janganlah kamu mendekati perbuatan-perbuatan yang keji, baik yang nampak di antaranya maupun yang tersembunyi, dan janganlah kamu membunuh jiwa yang diharamkan Allah (membunuhnya) melainkan dengan sesuatu (sebab) yang benar". Demikian itu yang diperintahkan kepadamu supaya kamu memahami(nya).

کہہ دیجئے کہ آؤ ہم تمہیں بتائیں کہ تمہارے پروردگار نے کیا کیا حرام کیا ہے .... خبردار کسی کو اس کا شریک نہ بنانا اور ماں باپ کے ساتھ اچھا برتاؤ کرنا .اپنی اولاد کو غربت کی بنا پر قتل نہ کرنا کہ ہم تمہیں بھی رزق دے رہے ہیں اور انہیں بھی ... اور بدکاریوں کے قریب نہ جانا وہ ظاہری ہوں یا چھپی ہوئی اور کسی ایسے نفس کو جسے خدا نے حرام کردیا ہے قتل نہ کرنا مگر یہ کہ تمہارا کوئی حق ہو .یہ وہ باتیں ہیں جن کی خدا نے نصیحت کی ہے تاکہ تمہیں عقل آجائے

আপনি বলুনঃ এস, আমি তোমাদেরকে ঐসব বিষয় পাঠ করে শুনাই, যেগুলো তোমাদের প্রতিপালক তোমাদের জন্যে হারাম করেছেন। তাএই যে, আল্লাহর সাথে কোন কিছুকে অংশীদার করো না, পিতা-মাতার সাথে সদয় ব্যবহার করো স্বীয় সন্তানদেরকে দারিদ্রে?480; কারণে হত্যা করো না, আমি তোমাদেরকে ও তাদেরকে আহার দেই, নির্লজ্জতার কাছেও যেয়ো না, প্রকাশ্য হোক কিংবা অপ্রকাশ্য, যাকে হত্যা করা আল্লাহ হারাম করেছেন, তাকে হত্যা করো না; কিন্তু ন্যায়ভাবে। তোমাদেরকে এ নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন, যেন তোমরা বুঝ।
