But, [on the contrary], We have provided good things for these [disbelievers] and their fathers until life was prolonged for them. Then do they not see that We set upon the land, reducing it from its borders? So it is they who will overcome?

Indeed, We have provided for them and their fathers until they lived on for long years. Do they not see how We visit the land diminishing it at its edges? Are they the ones who will prevail?

Nay, but We gave these and their fathers ease until life grew long for them. See they not how we aim to the land, reducing it of its outlying parts? Can they then be the victors?

Nay, We gave the good things of this life to these men and their fathers until the period grew long for them; See they not that We gradually reduce the land (in their control) from its outlying borders? Is it then they who will win?

Nay, but Ourselves gave these and their fathers enjoyment of days, until their life had lasted long while upon them. What, do they not see how We come to the land, diminishing it in its extremities? Or are they the victors?

بلکه اینان و پدرانشان را [از انواع نعمت ها] بهره مند ساختیم تا جایی که عمرشان طولانی شد [و گمان کردند که نعمت ها و عمرشان پایان نمی پذیرد]. آیا ندانسته اند که ما همواره به زمین می پردازیم و از اطراف [و جوانب] آن [که ملت ها، اقوام، تمدن ها و دانشمندانش هستند] می کاهیم؟ پس آیا باز هم آنان پیروزند؟

[نه‌] بلکه اینها و پدرانشان را برخوردار کردیم تا عمرشان به درازا کشید. آیا نمی‌بینند که ما می‌آییم و زمین را از جوانب آن فرو می‌کاهیم؟ آیا باز هم آنان پیروزند؟

Biz bunlara ve babalarına geçimlikler verdik de ömürleri uzadı; şimdi memleketlerini her yandan eksilttiğimizi görmüyorlar mı? Üstün gelen onlar mıdır?

Sebenarnya Kami telah memberi mereka dan bapak-bapak mereka kenikmatan (hidup di dunia) hingga panjanglah umur mereka. Maka apakah mereka tidak melihat bahwasanya Kami mendatangi negeri (orang kafir), lalu Kami kurangi luasnya dari segala penjurunya. Maka apakah mereka yang menang?

بلکہ ہم نے انہیں اور ان کے باپ دادا کو تھوڑی سی لّذت دنیا دے دی ہے یہاں تک کہ ان کا زمانہ طویل ہوگیا تو کیا یہ نہیں دیکھتے ہیں کہ ہم برابر زمین کی طرف آتے جارہے ہیں اور اس کو چاروں طرف سے کم کرتے جارہے ہیں کیا اس کے بعد بھی یہ ہم پر غالب آجانے والے ہیں

বরং আমি তাদেরকে এবং তাদের বাপ-দাদাকে ভোগসম্বার দিয়েছিলাম, এমনকি তাদের আয়ুস্কালও দীর্ঘ হয়েছিল। তারা কি দেখে না যে, আমি তাদের দেশকে চতুর্দিক থেকে হ্রাস করে আনছি। এরপরও কি তারা বিজয়ী হবে?
