Or do they have gods to defend them other than Us? They are unable [even] to help themselves, nor can they be protected from Us.

Do they have gods besides Us to defend them? Neither can they help themselves, nor can they shield [the idolaters] from Us.

Or have they gods who can shield them from Us? They cannot help themselves nor can they be defended from Us.

Or have they gods that can guard them from Us? They have no power to aid themselves, nor can they be defended from Us.

Or have they gods that shall defend them apart from Us? Why, they are not able to help themselves, nor shall they be guarded in safety from Us.

آیا برای آنان به جای ما معبودانی هست که آنان را [از عذاب ما] باز دارند در حالی که [آن معبودان] نمی توانند خود را یاری دهند و از سوی ما هم پناه داده نمی شوند؟

[34]آیا برای آنان خدایانی غیر از ماست که از ایشان حمایت کنند؟ [آن خدایان‌] نه می‌توانند خود را یاری کنند و نه از جانب ما یاری شوند.

Yoksa kendilerini bize karşı savunacak tanrıları mı var? O tanrılar kendilerine bile yardım edemezler. Katımızdan da dostluk görmezler.

Atau adakah mereka mempunyai tuhan-tuhan yang dapat memelihara mereka dari (azab) Kami. Tuhan-tuhan itu tidak sanggup menolong diri mereka sendiri dan tidak (pula) mereka dilindungi dari (azab) Kami itu?

کیا ان کے پاس ایسے خدا موجود ہیں جو ہمارے بغیر انہیں بچا سکیں گے یہ بیچارے تو خود اپنی بھی مدد نہیں کرسکتے ہیں اور نہ انہیں خود بھی عذاب سے پناہ دی جائے گی

তবে কি আমি ব্যতীত তাদের এমন দেব-দেবী আছে যারা তাদেরকে রক্ষা করবে? তারা তো নিজেদেরই সাহায্য করতে সক্ষম নয় এবং তারা আমার মোকাবেলায় সাহায্যকারীও পাবে না।
