Those messengers - some of them We caused to exceed others. Among them were those to whom Allah spoke, and He raised some of them in degree. And We gave Jesus, the Son of Mary, clear proofs, and We supported him with the Pure Spirit. If Allah had willed, those [generations] succeeding them would not have fought each other after the clear proofs had come to them. But they differed, and some of them believed and some of them disbelieved. And if Allah had willed, they would not have fought each other, but Allah does what He intends.

These are the apostles, some of whom We gave an advantage over others: of them are those to whom Allah spoke and some of them He raised in rank, and We gave Jesus, son of Mary, manifest proofs and strengthened him with the Holy Spirit. Had Allah wished, those who succeeded them would not have fought one another after the manifest proofs had come to them. But they differed. So there were among them those who had faith and there were among them those who were faithless, and had Allah wished, they would not have fought one another; but Allah does whatever He desires.

Of those messengers, some of whom We have caused to excel others, and of whom there are some unto whom Allah spake, while some of them He exalted (above others) in degree; and We gave Jesus, son of Mary, clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty) and We supported him with the holy Spirit. And if Allah had so wiled it, those who followed after them would not have fought one with another after the clear proofs had come unto them. But they differed, some of them believing and some disbelieving. And if Allah had so willed it, they would not have fought one with another; but Allah doeth what He will.

Those messengers We endowed with gifts, some above others: To one of them Allah spoke; others He raised to degrees (of honour); to Jesus the son of Mary We gave clear (Signs), and strengthened him with the holy spirit. If Allah had so willed, succeeding generations would not have fought among each other, after clear (Signs) had come to them, but they (chose) to wrangle, some believing and others rejecting. If Allah had so willed, they would not have fought each other; but Allah Fulfilleth His plan.

And those Messengers, some We have preferred above others; some there are to whom God spoke, and some He raised in rank. And We gave Jesus son of Mary the clear signs, and confirmed him with the Holy Spirit. And had God willed, those who came after him would not have fought one against the other after the clear signs had come to them; but they fell into variance, and some of them believed, and some disbelieved; and had God willed they would not have fought one against the other; but God does whatsoever He desires.

از آن فرستادگان برخی را بر برخی برتری بخشیدیم. از آنان کسی است که خدا با او سخن گفت، و برخی از آنان را درجات و مراتبی بالا برد. و عیسی بن مریم را دلایل و نشانه های روشن دادیم، و او را به وسیله روح القدس توانایی بخشیدیم. و اگر خدا می خواست کسانی که بعد از آنان [در طول قرون و اعصار] آمدند، پس از آنکه دلایل و براهین روشن به آنان رسید، با هم نمی جنگیدند، ولی [درباره ایمان و کفر با هم] اختلاف کردند، پس برخی از آنان ایمان آوردند و برخی کفر ورزیدند، قطعاً خدا اگر می خواست نمی جنگیدند، ولی خدا آنچه را می خواهد [از روی حکمت و مصلحت] انجام می دهد.

برخی از آن پیامبران را بر برخی دیگر برتری بخشیدیم. از آنان کسی بود که خدا با او سخن گفت و درجات بعضی از آنان را بالا برد؛ و به عیسی پسر مریم دلایل آشکار دادیم، و او را به وسیله روح القدس تأیید کردیم؛ و اگر خدا می‌خواست، کسانی که پس از آنان بودند، بعد از آن [همه‌] دلایل روشن که برایشان آمد، به کشتار یکدیگر نمی‌پرداختند، ولی با هم اختلاف کردند؛ پس، بعضی از آنان کسانی بودند که ایمان آوردند، و بعضی از آنان کسانی بودند که کفر ورزیدند؛ و اگر خدا می‌خواست با یکدیگر جنگ نمی‌کردند، ولی خداوند آنچه را می‌خواهد انجام می‌دهد.

İşte bu peygamberlerden bir kısmını diğerlerinden üstün kıldık. Onlardan Allah'ın kendilerine hitabettiği, derecelerle yükselttikleri vardır. Meryem oğlu İsa'ya belgeler verdik, onu Ruhul Kudüs'le destekledik. Allah dileseydi, belgeler kendilerine geldikten sonra, peygamberlerin ardından birbirlerini öldürmezlerdi. Fakat ayrılığa düştüler, kimi inandı, kimi inkar etti. Allah dileseydi birbirlerini öldürmezlerdi, lakin Allah istediğini yapar.

Rasul-rasul itu Kami lebihkan sebagian (dari) mereka atas sebagian yang lain. Di antara mereka ada yang Allah berkata-kata (langsung dengan dia) dan sebagiannya Allah meninggikannya beberapa derajat. Dan Kami berikan kepada Isa putera Maryam beberapa mukjizat serta Kami perkuat dia dengan Ruhul Qudus. Dan kalau Allah menghendaki, niscaya tidaklah berbunuh-bunuhan orang-orang (yang datang) sesudah rasul-rasul itu, sesudah datang kepada mereka beberapa macam keterangan, akan tetapi mereka berselisih, maka ada di antara mereka yang beriman dan ada (pula) di antara mereka yang kafir. Seandainya Allah menghendaki, tidaklah mereka berbunuh-bunuhan. Akan tetapi Allah berbuat apa yang dikehendaki-Nya.

یہ سب رسول علیھ السّلاموہ ہیں جنہیں ہم نے بعض کو بعض پر فضیلت دی ہے. ان میں سے بعض وہ ہیں جن سے خدا نے کلام کیا ہے اور بعض کے درجات بلند کئے ہیں اور ہم نے عیسیٰ علیھ السّلام بن مریم کو کھلی ہوئی نشانیاںدی ہیں اور روح القدس کے ذریعہ ان کی تائید کی ہے. اگر خدا چاہتا تو ان رسولوں کے بعد والے ان واضح معجزات کے آجانے کے بعد آپس میں جھگڑا نہ کرتے لیکن ان لوگوں نے (خدا کے جبر نہ کرنے کی بنا پر) اختلاف کیا ہے . بعض ایمان لائے اور بعض کافر ہو گئے اور اگر خدا طے کر لیتا تو یہ جھگڑا نہ کرسکتے لیکن خدا جو چاہتا ہے وہی کرتا ہے

এই রসূলগণ-আমি তাদের কাউকে কারো উপর মর্যাদা দিয়েছি। তাদের মধ্যে কেউ তো হলো তারা যার সাথে আল্লাহ কথা বলেছেন, আর কারও মর্যাদা উচ্চতর করেছেন এবং আমি মরিয়ম তনয় ঈসাকে প্রকৃষ্ট মু’জেযা দান করেছি এবং তাকে শক্তি দান করেছি ‘রুহূল কুদ্দুস’ অর্থৎ জিবরাঈলের মাধ্যমে। আর আল্লাহ যদি ইচ্ছা করতেন, তাহলে পরিস্কার নির্দেশ এসে যাবার পর পয়গম্বরদের পেছনে যারা ছিল তারা লড়াই করতো না। কিন্তু তাদের মধ্যে মতবিরোধ সৃষ্টি হয়ে গেছে। অতঃপর তাদের কেউ তো ঈমান এনেছে, আর কেউ হয়েছে কাফের। আর আল্লাহ যদি ইচ্ছা করতেন, তাহলে তারা পরস্পর লড়াই করতো, কিন্তু আল্লাহ তাই করেন, যা তিনি ইচ্ছা করেন।
