They will say, "Exalted are You! It was not for us to take besides You any allies. But You provided comforts for them and their fathers until they forgot the message and became a people ruined."

They will say, ‘Immaculate are You! It does not behoove us to take any wali in Your stead! But You provided for them and their fathers until they forgot the Reminder, and they were a ruined lot.’

They will say: Be Thou Glorified! it was not for us to choose any protecting friends beside thee; but Thou didst give them and their fathers ease till they forgot the warning and became lost folk.

They will say: "Glory to Thee! not meet was it for us that we should take for protectors others besides Thee: But Thou didst bestow, on them and their fathers, good things (in life), until they forgot the Message: for they were a people (worthless and) lost."

They shall 'Glory be to Thee! It did not behove us to take unto say, ourselves protectors apart from Thee; but Thou gavest them and their fathers enjoyment of days, until they forgot

پاسخ می دهند: شگفتا! سزاوار ما نبود که در برابر تو دوستان و پیروانی برای [پرستش] خود بگیریم، ولی تو اینان و پدرانشان را [از نعمت ها] برخوردار کردی [و آنان به جای شکر نعمت ها چنان در شهوات غرق شدند] تا آنکه یاد تو را فراموش کردند و گروهی هلاکت یافته شدند.

می‌گویند: «منزهی تو، ما را نسزد که جز تو دوستی برای خود بگیریم، ولی تو آنان و پدرانشان را برخوردار کردی تا [آنجا که‌] یاد [تو] را فراموش کردند و گروهی هلاک‌شده، بودند.»

Onlar: "Haşa; Seni bırakıp başka dostlar edinmek bize yaraşmaz; fakat Sen onlara ve babalarına nimetler verdin de sonunda Seni anmayı unuttular ve helaki hak eden bir millet oldular" derler.

Mereka (yang disembah itu) menjawab: "Maha Suci Engkau, tidaklah patut bagi kami mengambil selain engkau (untuk jadi) pelindung, akan tetapi Engkau telah memberi mereka dan bapak-bapak mereka kenikmatan hidup, sampai mereka lupa mengingati (Engkau); dan mereka adalah kaum yang binasa".

تو یہ سب کہیں گے کہ تو پاک اور بے نیاز ہے اور ہمیں کیا حق ہے کہ تیرے علاوہ کسی اور کو اپنا سرپرست بنائیں اصل بات یہ ہے کہ تو نے انہیں اور ان کے بزرگوں کو عزّت دنیا عطا کردی تو یہ تیری یاد سے غافل ہوگئے اس لئے کہ یہ ہلاک ہونے والے لوگ ہی تھے

তারা বলবে-আপনি পবিত্র, আমরা আপনার পরিবর্তে অন্যকে মুরুব্বীরূপে গ্রহণ করতে পারতাম না; কিন্তু আপনিই তো তাদেরকে এবং তাদের পিতৃপুরুষদেরকে ভোগসম্ভার দিয়েছিলেন, ফলে তারা আপনার স্মৃতি বিস্মৃত হয়েছিল এবং তারা ছিল ধ্বংসপ্রাপ্ত জাতি।
