And your Lord has decreed that you not worship except Him, and to parents, good treatment. Whether one or both of them reach old age [while] with you, say not to them [so much as], "uff," and do not repel them but speak to them a noble word.

Your Lord has decreed that you shall not worship anyone except Him, and [He has enjoined] kindness to parents. Should any of them or both reach old age at your side, do not say to them, ‘Fie!’ And do not chide them, but speak to them noble words.

و پروردگارت فرمان قاطع داده است که جز او را نپرستید، و به پدر و مادر نیکی کنید؛ هرگاه یکی از آنان یا دو نفرشان در کنارت به پیری رسند [چنانچه تو را به ستوه آورند] به آنان اُف مگوی و بر آنان [بانگ مزن و] پرخاش مکن، و به آنان سخنی نرم و شایسته [و بزرگوارانه] بگو.

و پروردگار تو مقرر کرد که جز او را مپرستید و به پدر و مادر [خود] احسان کنید. اگر یکی از آن دو یا هر دو، در کنار تو به سالخوردگی رسیدند به آنها [حتی‌] «اوف» مگو و به آنان پَرخاش مکن و با آنها سخنی شایسته بگوی.

Rabbin, yalnız Kendisine tapmanızı ve ana babaya iyilik etmeyi buyurmuştur. Eğer ikisinden biri veya her ikisi, senin yanında iken ihtiyarlayacak olursa, onlara karşı "Öf" bile demeyesin, onları azarlamayasın. İkisine de hep tatlı söz söyleyesin.

Dan Tuhanmu telah memerintahkan supaya kamu jangan menyembah selain Dia dan hendaklah kamu berbuat baik pada ibu bapakmu dengan sebaik-baiknya. Jika salah seorang di antara keduanya atau kedua-duanya sampai berumur lanjut dalam pemeliharaanmu, maka sekali-kali janganlah kamu mengatakan kepada keduanya perkataan "ah" dan janganlah kamu membentak mereka dan ucapkanlah kepada mereka perkataan yang mulia.

اور آپ کے پروردگار کا فیصلہ ہے کہ تم سب اس کے علاوہ کسی کی عبادت نہ کرنا اور ماں باپ کے ساتھ اچھا برتاؤ کرنا اور اگر تمہارے سامنے ان دونوں میں سے کوئی ایک یا دونوں بوڑھے ہوجائیں تو خبردار ان سے اُف بھی نہ کہنا اور انہیں جھڑکنا بھی نہیں اور ان سے ہمیشہ شریفانہ گفتگو کرتے رہنا

তোমার পালনকর্তা আদেশ করেছেন যে, তাঁকে ছাড়া অন্য কারও এবাদত করো না এবং পিতা-মাতার সাথে সদ্ব-ব্যবহার কর। তাদের মধ্যে কেউ অথবা উভয়েই যদি তোমার জীবদ্দশায় বার্ধক্যে উপনীত হয়; তবে তাদেরকে ‘উহ’ শব্দটিও বলো না এবং তাদেরকে ধমক দিও না এবং বল তাদেরকে শিষ্ঠাচারপূর্ণ কথা।
