Those who pronounce thihar among you [to separate] from their wives - they are not [consequently] their mothers. Their mothers are none but those who gave birth to them. And indeed, they are saying an objectionable statement and a falsehood. But indeed, Allah is Pardoning and Forgiving.

As for those of you who repudiate their wives by zihar, they are not their mothers; their mothers are only those who bore them, and indeed they utter an outrage and a lie. Indeed Allah is all-excusing, all-forgiving.

Such of you as put away your wives (by saying they are as their mothers) - They are not their mothers; none are their mothers except those who gave them birth - they indeed utter an ill word and a lie. And lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

If any men among you divorce their wives by Zihar (calling them mothers), they cannot be their mothers: None can be their mothers except those who gave them birth. And in fact they use words (both) iniquitous and false: but truly Allah is one that blots out (sins), and forgives (again and again).

Those of you who say, regarding their wives, 'Be as my mother's back,' they are not truly their mothers; their mothers are only those who gave them birth, and they are surely saying a dishonourable saying, and a falsehood. Yet surely God is All-pardoning, All-forgiving.

کسانی از شما که با زنان خود «ظهار» می کنند [یعنی بر پایه فرهنگ جاهلی می گویند: تو نسبت به من به منزله مادرم هستی، پس آمیزش با تو بر من حرام ابدی است] زنانشان مادرانشان نیستند، مادرانشان فقط زنانی هستند که آنان را زاده اند، و آنان بی تردید سخنی ناپسند و دروغ می گویند و مسلماً خدا بسیار باگذشت و بسیار آمرزنده است.

از میان شما کسانی که زنانشان را «ظهار» می‌کنند [و می‌گویند: پشت تو چون پشت مادر من است‌] آنان مادرانشان نیستند. مادران آنها تنها کسانی‌اند که ایشان را زاده‌اند، و قطعاً آنها سخنی زشت و باطل می‌گویند، و[لی‌] خدا مسلماً درگذرنده آمرزنده است.

İçinizde karılarını "zıhar" yapanlar bilsinler ki, karıları anneleri değildir; anneleri ancak, onları doğuranlardır. Doğrusu söyledikleri kötü ve asılsız bir sözdür. Allah şüphesiz affedendir, bağışlayandır.

Orang-orang yang menzhihar isterinya di antara kamu, (menganggap isterinya sebagai ibunya, padahal) tiadalah isteri mereka itu ibu mereka. Ibu-ibu mereka tidak lain hanyalah wanita yang melahirkan mereka. Dan sesungguhnya mereka sungguh-sungguh mengucapkan suatu perkataan mungkar dan dusta. Dan sesungguhnya Allah Maha Pemaaf lagi Maha Pengampun.

جو لوگ اپنی عورتوں سے ظہار کرتے ہیں ان کی عورتیں ان کی مائیں نہیں ہیں - مائیں تو صرف وہ عورتیں ہیں جنہوں نے پیدا کیا ہے .اور یہ لوگ یقینا بہت بفِی اور جھوٹی بات کہتے ہیں اور اللہ بہت معاف کرنے والا اور بخشنے والا ہے

তোমাদের মধ্যে যারা তাদের স্ত্রীগণকে মাতা বলে ফেলে, তাদের স্ত্রীগণ তাদের মাতা নয়। তাদের মাতা কেবল তারাই, যারা তাদেরকে জন্মদান করেছে। তারা তো অসমীচীন ও ভিত্তিহীন কথাই বলে। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ মার্জনাকারী, ক্ষমাশীল।
