And do not take your oaths as [means of] deceit between you, lest a foot slip after it was [once] firm, and you would taste evil [in this world] for what [people] you diverted from the way of Allah, and you would have [in the Hereafter] a great punishment.

Do not make your oaths a means of [mutual] deceit among yourselves, lest feet should stumble after being steady and [lest] you suffer ill for barring from the way of Allah and face a great punishment.

Make not your oaths a deceit between you, lest a foot should slip after being firmly planted and ye should taste evil forasmuch as ye debarred (men) from the way of Allah, and yours should be an awful doom.

And take not your oaths, to practise deception between yourselves, with the result that someone's foot may slip after it was firmly planted, and ye may have to taste the evil (consequences) of having hindered (men) from the Path of Allah, and a Mighty Wrath descend on you.

Take not your oaths as mere mutual deceit, lest any foot should slip after it has stood firm, and you should taste evil, for that you barred from the way of God, and lest there should await you a mighty chastisement.

و سوگندهایتان را میان خود مایه خیانت و فساد قرار ندهید که در نتیجه، قدمی پس از استواریش بلغزد؛ و به سبب آنکه مردم را از راه خدا بازداشتید [در این دنیا] سختی و ناگواری بچشید، و برای شما [در آخرت] عذابی بزرگ باشد.

و زنهار، سوگندهای خود را دستاویز تقلّب میان خود قرار مدهید، تا گامی بعد از استواریش بلغزد، و شما به [سزای‌] آنکه [مردم را] از راه خدا باز داشته‌اید دچار شکنجه شوید و برای شما عذابی بزرگ باشد.

Birbirinizi aldatmak için yemin etmeyin ki, bu yüzden sağlamca yere basmakta olan ayak sürçebilir; Allah yolundan alıkoymanıza karşılık kötü bir azap tadarsınız ve (ahirette de) büyük bir azaba uğrarsınız.

Dan janganlah kamu jadikan sumpah-sumpahmu sebagai alat penipu di antaramu, yang menyebabkan tergelincir kaki(mu) sesudah kokoh tegaknya, dan kamu rasakan kemelaratan (di dunia) karena kamu menghalangi (manusia) dari jalan Allah; dan bagimu azab yang besar.

اور خبردار اپنی قسموں کو فساد کا ذریعہ نہ بناؤ کہ نو مسلم افراد کے قدم ثابت ہونے کے بعد پھر اکھڑ جائیں اور تمہیں راہ هخدا سے روکنے کی پاداش میں بڑے عذاب کا مزہ چکھنا پڑے اور تمہارے لئے عذابِ عظیم ہوجائے

তোমরা স্বীয় কসমসমূহকে পারস্পরিক কলহ দ্বন্দ্বের বাহানা করো না। তা হলে দৃঢ়ভাবে প্রতিষ্ঠিত হওয়ার পর পা ফসকে যাবে এবং তোমরা শাস্তির স্বাদ আস্বাদন করবে এ কারণে যে, তোমরা আমার পথে বাধা দান করেছ এবং তোমাদের কঠোর শাস্তি হবে।
