So how [will it be] when disaster strikes them because of what their hands have put forth and then they come to you swearing by Allah, "We intended nothing but good conduct and accommodation."

But how will it be when an affliction visits them because of what their hands have sent ahead? Then they will come to you, swearing by Allah, ‘We desired nothing but to do good and to bring about comity.’

How would it be if a misfortune smote them because of that which their own hands have sent before (them)? Then would they come unto thee, swearing by Allah that they were seeking naught but harmony and kindness.

How then, when they are seized by misfortune, because of the deeds which they hands have sent forth? Then their come to thee, swearing by Allah: "We meant no more than good-will and conciliation!"

How shall it be, when they are visited by an affliction for what their own hands have forwarded, then they come to thee swearing by God, 'We sought only kindness and conciliation'?

پس [وضع و حالشان] چگونه خواهد بود هنگامی که به سبب آنچه مرتکب شده اند، حادثه ناگواری به آنان برسد، آن گاه در حالی که به خدا سوگند می خورند، نزد تو می آیند که ما [از داوری بردن نزد طاغوت] نیّتی جز نیکی و برقراری صلح و سازش [میان طرفین نزاع] نداشتیم.

پس چگونه، هنگامی که به [سزای‌] کار و کردار پیشینشان مصیبتی به آنان می‌رسد، نزد تو می‌آیند و به خدا سوگند می‌خورند که ما جز نیکویی و موافقت قصدی نداشتیم؟

Başlarına kendi işlediklerinden ötürü bir musibet çattığında sana gelip: "Biz, iyilik etmek ve uzlaştırmaktan başka bir şey istemedik" diye de nasıl Allah'a yemin ederler?

Maka bagaimanakah halnya apabila mereka (orang-orang munafik) ditimpa sesuatu musibah disebabkan perbuatan tangan mereka sendiri, kemudian mereka datang kepadamu sambil bersumpah: "Demi Allah, kami sekali-kali tidak menghendaki selain penyelesaian yang baik dan perdamaian yang sempurna".

پس اس وقت کیا ہوگا جب ان پر ان کے اعمال کی بنا پر مصیبت نازل ہوگی اور وہ آپ کے پاس آکر خدا کی قسم کھائیں گے کہ ہمارا مقصد صرف نیکی کرنا اور اتحاد پیدا کرنا تھا

এমতাবস্থায় যদি তাদের কৃতকর্মের দরুন বিপদ আরোপিত হয়, তবে তাতে কি হল! অতঃপর তারা আপনার কাছে আল্লাহর নামে কসম খেয়ে খেয়ে ফিরে আসবে যে, মঙ্গল ও সম্প্রীতি ছাড়া আমাদের অন্য কোন উদ্দেশ্য ছিল না।
